The skill gap becoming pro in sc2 to playing poker for a living isn't remotely the same.
Mechanically/mentally, you have to be great at sc2 to make any money to pay your bills
For poker, just to have enough income to pay bills, you can be nearly brain dead and fold like 95% of your hands while multi-tabling and playing your hands aggressively. You just auto pilot for folding.
Now, before everyone runs in here to defend poker. I never said poker isn't hard and that you don't need any skill to play it. I'm just saying to make money at poker takes less talent than it does at playing sc2.
I am not saying that one isn't harder than the other. I'm saying again: you can be an average person with an average brain with no hand/eye coordination and make money at poker. This same person will not make any money at sc2. Hence my statement about them not being the same.
