I obviously do but "1" is the most important key, it`s the easiest to hit you shouldn`t have something that is not that important there. 1-3 should def be reserved fro army. I`d like to have the Nexus next to my Robohotkey. As I have to move my hand to the other side when I want to go to the robo and while I`m at it I use chronoboosts.


The order you do stuff in PvT for example:


1. Attackmove
2. Activate Guardianshield
3 or 4. Use Timewarp/Forcefields
3 or 4. Storm
5. Focus Vikings


And that`s pretty much how I got my hotkeys set-up.

6. Rebuild stuff.


This was for WOL.

Guess I`m going with

1. Army.
2. Sentries(Early Game, later 2. is HT)
3. Mothershipcore.
4. Stalkers
5. Sentries

fwiw ` is a pretty elite hotkey you guys should probably use as well. That is where my banelings live.

Q and Y can be claimed for control groups or camera hotkeys pretty easily too.

1 is not the easiest hotkey to hit for me. Where my hands sit on the keyboard are like 4 and 3. I still have 1 as my main army hotkey for some reason though. Habit I suppose.

Yeah, I have my army on 2 as I consider it the easiest. I wish I knew how to use 1 honestly. I've literally never hit it in a game, and I always have nexus on 3. 1 would be great for like spell casters or mothership core.

W is also a good key. I have patrol bound to that. Also a good idea I heard from Artosis was a camera location bound to Tab or Caps Lock and use it for proxy pylons/rally points. I wish I could use it, but I have no idea what to use it for.

WASD are good for anyone who used to play shooters .

i use ` for patrol. do people leave patrol on p or just not use it?

I leave it on P and use it rarely.

Yeah I left P for patrol because I was used to it but if I started playing again I would rebind it. Also would rebind sensor tower off N.

I got so used to almost all default that it would be hard to change. I have base camera on space and I have ` as select whole army, F1-F4 as locations and that's it, all default.

What's wrong with sensor tower on n? How many do you build

Looks like the fixed the APM "bug" in the score screen. Mine went from 250-300 to 80-90.

Just played a ZvZ where the zerg randomly said gg and left after a baneling semi all in. I checked the replay and I was up by only 2 drones and we had the same amount of lings when he left. Weird stuff.

I hardly ever build them but whenever I feel like I should it takes me forever to find the N key and I end up mashing some other hotkey on accident.

how else are you gonna build one?

does anyone here play on a large monitor or tv? planning on using my desktop again primarily and would be using a 32" for my monitor. wondering if im gonna break my neck trying to look all over a larger screen (playing on 15" laptop atm)

Ohh I had today 2 funny games:


First one I tried a blink allin off 1 Base he scouted it and was perfectly prepared and I didn`t do any dmg(He went for a fast greedy cc). I somehow managed to comeback and outplayed him. He was really really mad.

Before my second match I had a game against a Zerg and I went into the game with thought that a win might promote me to masters. Opponent 6 pooled me, I missmicroed and lost. After the game I was really really mad.

So second game I play against terran on a ****ty map and am like "**** this **** - Proxy 2 gate". I did build them in his natural (Genius.jpg), obviously didn`t make it in his main as the depots were up(Mother**** had like 8 hp left). So didn`t do any dmg, but somehow I managed to make a comeback. I wanted to immortal allin him but he scanned me right when I moved out, so I was like "yeah **** that **** mother****er prolly putting 6 bunkers up" - so he did. So I didn`t allin(lol).

At one point he decided to move out and fight me head on(Genius.jpg), I did cut his army and he always tried to bait me into widowmines(Yeah buddy not gonna happen). After the fight I was ahead(lol) and just outmacroed him.

These two games made me believe that it`s quite dumb to allin when you are just so much better in macrogames.

If you remap the hotkeys to those, what do you use for making SCV's and Marines?
