Since Karak has now named this my liveblog: I did a 7pool spine rush ZvZ today and crushed a fool who dared to hatch first against me. He sent his drones out and built a couple extractors, so I laughed at him and then teched up to brood lords, built a 200/200 army of 50 BLs, and flew them in neat circles around his extractors before ending it.

I hope so, saying gg is for the weak. I tell all my ladder opponents that they only won because I am bad and not because they are good.

A couple of my irl friends got this game recently so I'm trying to teach them to become elite gold level players like me. So far they're both still in practice league, and for some reason insist on playing Protoss which is the one race for which filtersc doesn't have really helpful beginner videos. :/

Looking for GSL VODs on Gom, they apparently have this G-Star Invitational thing which appears to be Rain, Nestea, and MVP playing HotS against each other (Korean casting only).

Cliffs so far:
- Obviously everyone who plays WoL knows what's really missing from the Protoss arsenal is an air unit that outranges vikings
- Zergs apparently now require a fast lair ZvT or else they're guaranteed to have growth/map control stunted by widow mines forever
- Reapers continue the trend of Blizzard having nfi what the sweet spot for a unit is, as they've now tilted back to "OP, need to be nerfed" at which point Blizzard will nerf them and they'll sink back into total irrelevance in competitive play

Seems like detection will become more important due to stuff like widow mines/swarm hosts/burrow charge, and when people start to prioritize it more it will lessen the value of stuff like banshee openings and burrowed infested terran attacks.

Global play coming to Starcraft in an upcoming patch.

Korean bronze players: I'M COMIN 4 U

Oh man just played a TvZ where I got my opponent SO MAD. We trade back and forth a bit with me generally getting the better end of our engagements, then he suicides a billion banelings into me and doesn't take out my whole army so I march on his 3rd. I take it out but see he's just morphing broods, so I retreat, and have a decent bio force but nothing that can take a lot of broods head on. So I'm like **** it, base trade! With no 3rd his economy blows now so I go around the map as he comes at my base with his broods, and predictably he has no army in his base. I lift my buildings at home and he gets FURIOUS, calling me an *******, even says "what a douche lifting when you're about to lose"...lolwut?

I take out everything but his final hidden hatch while his brood lords are still trying to clean up the stuff on the ground at my base and he leaves, then sends me angry messages and tries to block me but not in time to stop me from laughing at him and calling him a ******. HE MAD.

Why do you think so? I don't have any lag as is on my TW account.

There's a thread on tl.net about how the infestor could be changed (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/view...opic_id=380798) . Imma skip over my zerg bias and just state my utter shock at seeing this post from Nazgul. The only thing that makes sense is if he meant all of those as single alternatives, but the post looks like he's suggesting all those changes together? (considering each separate suggestion was already present in the OP)

I have lag whenever I play any game on foreign servers. I haven't tried SC2 obviously but I'm surprised to hear you don't get any.

fungal was tried as a slow projectile in a PTR, and it was the worst change ever. Since blinkstalkers could then dodge it with a blink, negating infestors as a option completely against blink


Nazgul is a clown for thinking those things are legitimate

2 of those 3 changes have already been PTR'd and both failed, especially the projectile one which was LOL
