Also don't get a crappy job that makes you work more than 40 hours per week. It is better to make ~100k/year at a 40/hr week job than more at a job that requires 60-80+ hours per week. Like the dude that getting married says, time is his most precious commodity... once you have enough to trade your most valuable commodity (time) for more dollars you don't need. It's all about life balance.

If you don't have time to play SC2 (other than temporary, transitional periods of your life) then you have failed at life.

I love my job. My career is my life and it's more important than anything. I assure you that not having time/energy to play a meaningless video game doesn't mean I have failed at life. Quite the opposite. I look forward to going to work every day. I'm just very tired when I get home.

Having my job become something that's just a way to get money forty hours a week is basically my worst nightmare. THAT would be "failing at life" for me (although I'd probably choose more tactful words to describe it).

i'd guess the percent of people that work >50 hours/week who either like what they do or have an end goal is much much much higher than people who work 40.

Scumbag SC2 ladder. Start yesterday's ladder session 0-3 vs diamond and plat players, then they match me up with my first master's league opponent for some reason.

Goofy the spine crawler rush seems to not work as good vs. master's league players in my 1 game of experience, fyi.

We were close by air so he saw only 4 drones and got to cancel his 15 hatch. The spines got up but were only alive for the briefest of moments before his huge drone count finished them off. My ling micro was not as good as his drone micro for sure.

I do a 7 pool spine rush. Perhaps I'll try out this 10 pool one you speak of. I probably should have won but he had master's league drones and I just had platinum league slow lings.
