like, idk what happened but i was searching, and searching for a while, then all of a sudden screen flashes and im back at normal screen but not searching, and check my ladder history and boom, loss for -12 points

ling/infestor/bl/corruptor is exhausting to play with my mind hurts... or it could just be my APMs strained from being so rusty i dunno

then people would just quit whenever they get a race/map/player they don't like. Would be horrible for GM players where most people know eachother

Did Patch 1.5 break the game or something? I've been seeing a lot of complaints based on bugs and what not.

I didnt encounter any bugs, actually I tought the new custom games interface was much better.

I was reading something about pathing problems, something about the roach supply?, problems with losses being over -100pts, stuff like that, and I don't know for sure, but it seems like there were a lot of unannounced changes to the game itself, like planetary fortresses not being a separate building when on the same hotkey as other orbitals.

It broke it for me, kinda. It always crashed ~30 secs into a game. I had to lower all the graphs/sound/gameplay settings.

I put in a support ticket with Blizzard, they said a driver was out of date on my pc, I DL the driver, and afterward the windows rating on my PC for the graphics card went down, lol.

Yeah, the larva block is probably among the worst bugs for this patch. I actually watched Protosser earlier have to manually kill 4 larva in a game vs Idra to replant a hatchery. It didn't really matter in that game, but it could.

Does Blizzard even play their own game? How do you not notice that

I played 3 games:
- a TvZ where I think I played pretty well, survived an initial roach push from my opponent pretty handily and pushed out to his base and was then surprised to find myself swimming in a lot more roaches than I expected him to have after killing his army, but I kept my macro up and eventually overwhelmed him.
- a ZvT (starts at 20:30) where I get into what's becoming a familiar pattern for me in this matchup: opponent sets up a siege tank line, I don't feel comfortable attacking into it so I put myself in this stalemate where I just max out, but never feel good enough about my unit composition to attack (in this case it was mostly roach, then a few brood lords/corruptors, but then he went with a lot of vikings so my air units were basically worthless). If anyone watches this game, stop at 49:00, it's already over at that point)
- a TvP (starts at 58:00) where I feel like I play pretty well at the start; I scout what looks like some kind of aggressive opening, and even though I have no idea what it is (like 3 gateways w/o an expand, a forge, and no gas?? no clue what that's supposed to be) it scares me enough to finally put up some proper defenses, get SCVs ready to repair, etc, and I hold it off when he attacks. After that though I get complacent and just build a lot of **** without really having a great game plan. Also he starts building DTs and while they don't do a ton of damage (except for one battle where I didn't even realize DTs were ripping me apart so I didn't use a scan), I didn't react to them well either. Get a little greedy with my army at one point and lose a lot of it to colossi, but retreat and rebuild fast enough to hold him off at my base, and at that point my economy allows me to easily rebuild way faster than him.

Mostly looking for advice from Zergs on game #2 - like, seriously, I never have a clue wtf to do in those spots - but would love feedback on anything in general.

im always curious why a standard response to siege line at the third isn't drop lotsa roaches and lings in the main

It seems to me that drops don't work very well vs terran, when I have watched pros and played myself. Drops for zerg are expensive and pretty easy to scout for the most part. Generally if you drop my main while I am on 3 bases I will base trade, and most likely won or, somehow defend it, then attack and win. Roaches and zerglings aren't the greatest units haha and if you waste them all killing my buildings you won't have anything left to kill my army.
