Cool, maybe I'll try this out. I got 4 hellion dropped earlier today for the first time ever; he fried my entire mineral line and won the game right there basically. Looking at the replay though his build was
awful; he was basically all-in on his hellion drop, because he was on 1 base and built 0 marines out of his barracks. He just bee-lined for a factory w/ tech lab, researched blue flame, and sent 4 hellions over in a medivac as soon as they all finished (~7:10?). What's especially tilting is that if I pull my SCVs right away and send all my marines over, it doesn't work, but I sent my marines over in pieces and that didn't work out so well.
Messing around against the AI I was able to do 1 rax + gas expand into reactored hellions with a medivac at about 7:35 (and a bunker w/ ~8 marines defending my nat); does that sound like a good opening for this type of build? Leaves me some flexibility to go in different directions after the drop I guess.
