lol, I'm so bad that my opponent just did a 3rax all in against my 1 rax FE. I somehow held him off (had to pull some SCVs but got it done) AND STILL LOST.

Tanks in siege mode are really great against banelings. So is not being on creep. Marauders as the border of your bio army to protect to soft marines is nice against em too.

When you're older you can just spread your bio like crazy and kite them but for now just try that.

If you can just run all your bio and get 2 volleys off with like 3 tanks you can basically kill an infinite number of banelings with those 6 shots, assuming you're target firing with them so they dont hit just zerglings.

Re: liquid rising im sad that it's bad, hopefully Sons of Starcraft will actually be good.

yeah have all your bio in one group and your marines in another one also. So you 1a your army around, banelings come, 2->move marines back a bit so banes hit marauders. If they're good this won't work as well (but still better than nothing) but they're probably not good

edit: I'm watching liquid rising now...I don't understand why it took so long. It's just an interview with each guy and a few comments from other guys about him...it's sort of interesting I guess but as a "documentary" or whatever it's pretty weak

Siege tanks are kind of an awkward transition in my build - I go for medivacs asap, so if I need siege tanks I have to throw a tech lab on my factory, research siege mode, build 3 of them, all of which costs...600 minerals/500 gas? That's expensive.

Might be just be me but Terran seems like a really tough race to play while working on your macro, effing brutally unforgiving. Zerg/Toss you could like pull a lot of wins just making a ball of muta or collosi.

ever since coming back, ive been losing most of my games due to a lack of larva. much of the time it's struggling with injects, but in a few games (zvzs especially), even when hitting injects i just dont have enough larva. very sad.

Then he gets up LOLsiegetanks defending and my bio army is whittled down to about even on the next attack, and the abortion of a game goes on like 30 minutes longer but again I fail to capitalize on having a large supply advantage because I lost.

There is a theme here: I have more **** than my opponent, and I still lose.

The best way to deal with that is to just keep playing games. Just like with anything you will get better control wise as time goes by.

I'd rather be ahead in food and have to focus on fixing my micro than be behind in food all the time and have to fix everything.

Make that 2 games I've lost today where I had my opponent down to ****ING VOID RAYS and they come back for a miracle ****ing win. Un ****ing believable.

I have a great strat for late game Terran in bronze when you have a couple thousand saved up. Get 3-4 banshees with cloak and just send'em to their newest expansion, cloak and go about your business.

- creep tumors burrow after being put down, so you can't take creep out without detection
- zerg have vision over their entire creep?

tumors provide vision, not creep. important distinction. and yes scanning and killing creep is very important, but thankfully you are terran so everything is free for you.

Lol just lost a game vs a diamond toss because I missed one inject cycle. Now I know why Nestea said if you let your queen get over 50 energy, you lose. I think he was talking about ZvT, but it still applies to ZvP I guess.

Are you referring to scans? Sure, it's "free", but that's opportunity cost in the form of MULEs I could be dropping, or even if I were to use scans it feels like there's opportunity cost in not using those same scans for seeing what my opponent is doing.

I feel like I need a raven. Which means I need a tech lab starport. Which means less medivacs.

goofy think about how much money you normally end up stockpiling (I'm somewhere between high gold and mid plat and I almost always have a stockpile from the midgame). Now think about if you really need every last mule, or if using a scan or two to clear up creep is worth it. Also make sure to use the full extent of the scan's range when you're clearing creep too, remember there won't be tumors at the edge of the creep, they'll only start a short distance into it.

btw, what's a good way to practice a new race? I'm speaking purely hypothetically, but if I want to **** around with Z or P and play against actual people, doing it with a silver-level MMR seems bad as I'd just get wafflecrushed while figuring **** out.

Karak mentioned having a smurf account, do you need to basically buy the game again on a separate bnet account to do that?
