I tried to pick a few of the more fun ones, and I threw in one where the guy went phoenix to show how to beat that. I found it somewhat unintuitive, but my friend aLeJ suggested to just get 1 collossus and push, which works very well.

Most games, though, you'll face someone doing a more middle of the road type build, and you'll have a much better economy, or they'll try to blink stalker all-in you. It's usually pretty easy to hold against that, since you can get 2-3 immortals out very quickly.

they reverted back to the old system a week ago

someone has gotta help me plzplzplzplz with my framerate issues while streaming. i love streaming, but i just cant play well while doing it due to the framerate slowdowns. i miss OLs constantly, move command my units away cause it's picking up every other action, etc.

i have a 3.8 ghz quad core cpu and more than enough juice. it shouldnt be dropping frames at all. anyone?

I'm in Diamond but I have been playing a bunch of golds lately. I figured it was just the next system, but it turns out I just suck.

But now I've worked my way back up to facing platinum, so its all good.

i have been facing a random assortment. maybe they didnt undo it? i faced lzgamer, iSHeart, ssnspyte, this guy who was #1 masters last year and like 5 diamond players (who were actually in all reality real diamond players) in the last 40 games or so. lol. then a bunch of mid-masters guys.

the demuslim game was really sick. a great watch, but there's 2 things that i primarily took out of it:

1) dat 6th gas amirite?

2) switching between time's cam and demuslim's cam is pretty lol. must really tilt demuslim to lose to a guy with the apm of a ******ed child.

PJA- in that build vs. demuslim, is FFE the only way to nexus first on that map? i'm guessing nexus-->gateway = insta death?

On any map where you can be scouted fast (ie. only 1 spawn location), nexus first is prob extremely risky & hard to hold unless you scout CC first. You'll prob have to do what zergs do to hold bunker rush without pool, but you can't suddenly produce a ton, so you're practically just holding w/ probes for a great deal of time (and thus not gaining your expo advantage. Nexus forge is pretty cool but I haven't done it yet

I'm not an expert on this by any means, but here's my understanding of it.

If you go nexus->gateway you have to do something like 15 nexus/15 gateway or maybe 16 gateway and chrono two straight zealots to really be safe against a marine/scv push. Or you can go 17 nexus 17 forge and have a better economy and be just as safe if not safer.

Also, the cannons aren't entirely wasted, since they are a huge deterrent to any kind of 3-4 rax marine push or ghost push. They also help a lot when dealing with the initial medivac harass, since they can't pull your army into your base and then run-by into the natural if you have two cannons there.

Also fast upgrades are really good.

My only concern ATM is how to deal with a marine+siege tank push. I think that perhaps getting templar so quickly is not the best idea, and I should get charge instead, and then get the templar archives after.

Yeah, nexus first counters 1-1-1 pretty hard.

Just tried nexus forge on entombed, managed to hold ~6 scvs and 8 marines from a 4 rax because he tried to snipe my pylon. I pulled the ~8 probes from my nat and didn't lose any, and he left right after. I think it's pretty legitimate, but got to be on the ball with scouting

once you held his early attack, i think you should have droned harder. you were at like a 10-15 worker deficit.

at the 15 minute mark, it's a 20 worker def.

i think that you did a good job of keeping him on 2 bases. it was good that you didn't go through that choke...that would have been a disaster.

i think that you should have just kept him on 2 base and you should have droned harder/taken additional bases yourself. i know the DTs were annoying, but you should still be able to hold that.

i mean, he's not really going to sneak out his main army w/o you knowing it...so yeah. i think that you should have droned like crazy after his initial 7 gate failed. you sorta went super heavy on roaches/hydras but they didnt really do any damage.
