obviously this is exactly how it went down, i have played like 4 games total with you all of which you have cheesed me and i just wanted to practice my zerg and play a game longer than 7 minutes . I wont be responding anymore, internet dick waving contests aren't my specialty, and i'm certainly not gonna win one vs you and your loyal followers. The sarcastic jabs started only after you said you were playing "standard" and obviously our ideas of standard play are quite different. The 4 gate is whatever cause of the gasless expand, i get it, but there is no way that cannoning a hatch first is "standard." My point was anyone good is gonna own that make ****ing 75+ drones before you can even consider attacking, and never let you take a 3rd base.

is cannon rushing a hatch firsting zerg one of the many standard plays protoss can do in response? in my experience as zerg, it is, but apparently im wrong?

Also in regards to the cannoning Zerg when they hatch first. Yes it's superstandard for that to happen and it's almost stupid not to at least try it since it's almost an autowin most of the time. I also heard many SC2 pros mention this on streams.

I think you may have prematurely called Karak for playing dumb. I understand sometimes he does make those sarcastic jabs and it pisses off a lot of people but reading from what you said I think you are in the wrong here.

btw i'd say im cannon-rushed (or at least they try to pylon wall me which has been getting W-W-W-W-WRECKED recently due to the new pylon drone trick posted on reddit/TL) 60-70% of the time when hatch firsting on FFE maps, but, again, im obviously wrong and have just been playing donks.

Its certainly not worth the risk of building 2 pylons and some cannons and delaying everything of yours. if you wanna hatch first ZvP you have to be willing to cancel the hatchery and build it elsewhere when you get cannon rushed. if the guy does a good cannon rush you're not gonna stop it unless you pull probes ahead of time to prevent the pylon. even then if he really wants to he can just throw down 4 pylons and you're not going to kill all of them w/ drones before he gets a cannon up. and if you pull all those drones to stop the pylon you're gonna get behind from not mining.

and even if you cancel its super hard to keep up w/ a FFE economy while killing the cannons/pylons. if you ignore it too long they just warpgate rush you and you die.

long story short just don't hatch first.

he made a goofy tech switch to hydras and infestors mid-game on shakuras so i just ran in about 8 ghosts and EMPd all his infestors, then ran in my hero bioball for the rest.

Ok so i shouldn't hatch first on shakuras but with your logic the standard play would be to baneling bust/nydus a ffe toss everytime because i'm slightly behind economically. I just thought you were trying to learn how to play toss as i was with zerg, and thats just not my idea of how to learn. I mean a ******ed monkey could one gas 4gate, it actually takes more multitasking/skill to pull off a cannon rush. I dont consider taking a pretty big risk very early in the game standard play, but i guess hatch firsting is exactly that, so my logic is dumb
