man blue flame is amazing. i was up 44-20 harvesters on a terran with spines at my nat to protect my drones and queen on hold position on my ramp. i kept most of my drones in my main when i saw 4 blue flames coming. my queen was an inch to the right of where she should be.

from a massive lead to GG in about 4 seconds. truly incredible.

the best part is i opened mass roach... and yet he just continued massing blue flame anyways. no even attempt to tech switch to anything else. i obv assumed he'd tech switch to marine/tank since i had a whole bunch of roaches.

nope. just massed blue flame. no scans. no scouting.

He won didn't he? So obviously he made the right choice.

Helions are so awesome. Climbing up the list of my favorite units. Behind dt and blink stalker maybe.

yellow: been around for ever, best zerg in the world until july's first run, notably has more second places that pretty much anyone ever without winning anything. famously lost to boxer in the semi finals of the 2004 ever osl in about 20 minutes to three straight bunker rushes. more recently owned the hell out of bisu with special tactics, owned the hell out of jaedong

back when i knew nothing about starcraft the consensus all-stars were boxer and yellow.

i think yellow ventured into poker as well, he had a stars account with some notoriety. i want to say it was "lifeisjust" or "kitty97" i forget. I could be 100% wrong on yellow playing poker, one of those random rumors I heard.

I'm kinda good at Liquibet recently. I've gotten every single Code S and Code A match correct so far, which is an 18 match streak. That's good for 54th overall. Also, despite knowing jack **** about BW, I'm 13th overall in Liquibet, despite just losing an 11-match streak.

P getting a good harass unit would indeed be interesting.

The way I see it, zealots just aren't as good of drop units as like stimmed marines, helions or banelings. Zealots get cleaned up before they can do any real damage.

Not to mention the protoss harass units: phoenix and dt both require massive investments, delay other tech, and add next to nothing to your desired unit composition. In ZvT you go muta ling bling because it's good for your main army. But then you can send out your mutas to harass or use lings for a run by. They serve multiple purposes.

Or look at TvP. Go 1-1-1. You harass with that first banshee every time. Then when you go to attack the banshee is a pivotal part of your marine tank banshee composition.

There are no toss units like that.

Instead P gets the immortal. A unit that must be microed on it's own(you can't a move with it or it's worth nothing) and can't retreat once you start fighting.

what is your definition of a good harass unit? and why do blink stalkers/phoenix/DT's/warp prism/warp gates not qualify while (i assume) mutas/burrow roach/speedlings/drops/banshees/helions qualify for zerg/terran?

Also I've never played a Z that went baneling drops purely for harass. It's always part of the end game army plan. The harass part is just an added bonus.

i would love to be able to drop something as effective as 8 rines/4 hellions for 500/100 cost. it's the cost in gas that's the killer. if they gave us reavers for what they cost in brood war that'd be viable
