I remember obsing you on shakuras pvz and wondering why you had a clump of approx 10 overlords sitting jus infront (maybe it was behind) of your army. You were on 4 bases and army rally was in the open flat ground in the middle, just out of sight of the xnt's. Is there any reasoning behind this other than lol suicidaments? You actively selected the ovvies and put them there fwiw.

How does one dt rush and make 5 dts? When I dt rush I can barely get 3 out. Sometimes I have to wait to send out the third.

this....maybe if you went zealot/stalker instead of zealot/sentry. but you should be even more prepared for it then if you don't see any sentries at all.

he made stalkers then zealots then waited and i was foolish and took a 3rd before getting lair cause i was darker than derek the dark

Also, 18 mins into the game, you should probably have a decent idea of what your opponent is doing, which would allow you to make more overseers when pushing out vs armies that may contain cloaked units. I just can't picture how you could've possibly blown a 70 supply lead in that situation.

i had 3 overseers on the map but he killed them all. i obviously made a mistake as you've pointed out 3 times now stunna (no idea why the last post was suddenly necessary), but my point remains that there are no mistakes protoss could make aside from a clicking on his own units in the same situation if roles were reversed to lose.

I don't think it would be a terrible idea to make zerg's new overseer/detector a bit sturdier - maybe some form of cloaking?

I was giving some thought to why each race kind of falls where it does.

As much as I personally feel T needs a buff, the korean ladder is so T top heavy its silly.
While it seems Z is making strides against P, I still think top level P is better than top level Z.

So the basic hierarchy is T > P > Z.
But why?
SC2 is an economy RTS, I think everyone is pretty much in agreement on this.
The best race is the one with the best economy harassing options.
T can kills workers with hellions, banshees, reapers, and drops. I know there are more options, but those three right there are all simple, early game, and effective.

Now lets look at Toss.
Obsiously DTs are good, you can do some warp prism harass, but its hard to do it as early as you can some of the T harass. You can do some blink stalker harass, but again, not quite as early or effective as T's options.

And lastly, our Zerg friends.
Their options for econ harass are pretty bad. Everything they have is expensive, fairly late, and requires a decent number of units. Mutas, while I hate dealing with them, when you use mutas, its a big investment and you need a lot of them. Its definitely not comparable to a 8 marine drop that costs 500M100G. Infestors, again, a lot of tech, and hit late. Ling run by, can't work early do to walls, requires your opponent to really not be paying attention. Another thing, about muta and infestor harass, is these pretty much have to make a good portion of your army. You can't really go roach hydra with muta harass. On the other hand, I can go bio and throw in some cheap hellion harass, I can go hard core mech and just throw a couple marines in a drop ship without screwing up my army composition.

I feel like ZvT is pretty even late game, ZvP I still don't know, I'll watch sheth roflstomp toss one game, then watch idra look like he never had a chance the next. But I definitely think that in the expansion Zerg needs some kind of harass unit

ehm... mlg ???? or dreamhack forgot wich one. The tourney that huk won . He played vs a zerg and won in the fifth game becasue the zerg player failed wit ha 6 pool
