having 13 infestors and 7 broodlords out at the 19minute mark makes terran players very sad people

dammit i hated him so much at first but seeing his logical thinking combined with horrible manners is so entertaining from his perspective and yet was so annoying from the perspective of anybody else... it's so entertaining

his first video from 20 hours ago had 13k views... he's going to get really ****ing popular before this week is over... he should just stream... he'd have way more viewers than destiny and dethrone destiny as the leader of the horde of destiny viewers

i mean his horrible personality and horrible belief system aside, he is the most entertaining "streamer" of starcraft games by leagues and bounds having knowledge of his history/persona...

btw im def getting placed in diamond again. went on a tilt fest losing streak right at the end of the ladder lock, obviously. facing all high diamond again. sigh.

I mean, he generally kills Destiny in bm/trashtalk battles when they play, but I don't think he could overtake Destiny's viewer count.

Yeah I mean I'm a huge Terran homer but I'll throw my towel in the combatex camp, dudes hilarious.

However, I remember when me and petzergling used to troll megumixbear and ret, she mentioned combatex and the guy he played w/ (protecth? Forget was so long ago) would stalk her regularly. Which makes me think this is his ironic attempt to be the cool social outcast who everybody hated but then loved because they hated him confusing scenario where everybody realizes even though the kids probably a loser what he's saying is hilarious and true.

Completely agree w/ combatex wrt captain commercial himself incontrol. Destiny seems ok because at least he doesn't try to flaunt that he's a progamer in everybodies face, and I respect that he acknowledges that he is a huge irl loser but has a good sense of humor. He also works pretty hard. The constant bitching like all Zerg players about balance is ok because at least when he plays those better than himself he knows not to bitch about balance (unlike ~80% of zergs currently).

I ask you all... if the roles were reversed and a Zerg player was in the Protoss player's situation, is there literally ANY imaginable situation where the Zerg player can win the game? Pick any unit in the world he can make, do you see how he can win in the Protoss' situation? The Protoss player only has 4 gates, has 0 mining bases and has 20 probes. He's also down in upgrades and nearly 70 in supply.

well, he does have 2k minerals banked. bad macro for the win.

i also don't see how it's possible that you lost that game above, unless he had some DTs shredding you apart or something.

No clue what you're talking about but if you're that far ahead you better play safe and have detection. It doesn't matter if it's "fair" or not, whatever that is supposed to mean, you have to learn to beat whatever protoss can throw at you. Or change races, or don't play competitively.

I'm assuming he has dts with such a small standing army, so ya snipe the overseer, warp in a sentry and a couple dts, $$$. No idea how you proceeded to lose though. Defending is possible however.

Also looks like you just rebuilt your 2nd and 3rd hatches so your SS is deceiving insofar as how far ahead you are. If he defends he can get map control and get his 2nd and 3rd up with DTs long enough to get stalker or colo count. It's a really bad situation for him but not unwinnable.

IDGAF if your army has detection. When you have the game locked and a huge macro/army advantage and the only thing you can possibly lose to is DTs, you'd better focus on making sure you can handle a dozen DTs walking up your ramp.

also suicided the rset of his stalkers around the map itno my main to snipe ever overseer i had there too. he literally had 6 DTs left. i still managed to hold and get my 2nd base up, constantly deny his 3rd and thn i was like lol i win cause he just has masses of DTs

but it's ok, even when you get detection, DTs are still really cool. you can make them into archons which i thought roaches hard counter but as i found otu, apparently not.

at least i didnt lose to a DT rush the next game or anything to really rub it in.

i think my big issue is making roaches and hydras. they are such horrible, horrible units.

lol at least i havent been dt rushed 4 games in a row now and lost every single one despite scouting half of them before the shrine even finished. 3 spores = not enough apparently. what the **** am i supposed to do? last game i had 2 spores at my nat and 1 spore at my main with a spine at my main, 2 spines at my nat and 3 queens. he just brought 5 DTs and focused down the spores so fast i couldnt even ****ing react.

lol at least a map hacker didnt blindly pick my base out on the map with his camera the next game, hide 2 gates in my base, then pull all his probes and attack me with zealots and probes. now after 4 straight games of losign to a DT rush that would make me pretty upset.

lol just watched the rep. as soon as the game started he selected a probe, shifted his camera to my base and instantly moved it there. nice. at least im not on a massive losing streak and tilting already.

If you lost that game, with the roles as they are in the pic, you must have made some pretty big mistakes. Post the replay imo.

i already explained how i lost the game. it's fairly straight forward.

and i definitely made mistakes, no question about it. i just wonder if roles were flipped are tehre any amount of mistakes he could make to lose the game? i doubt it.

WEll, guys, I worked hard at my MMR during the entire ladder lock. I was playing nothing but masters players. The evening before the ladder is unlocked, I decided to "solidify" my position on the ladder.

SInce I made that brilliant decision, I've gone 8-16 and am now being matched with low diamond players.

GG Starcraft. I honestly think I'm done with you if I continually do nothing but play diamond players. And watching these replays man... these people are SO ****ING HORRIBLE, but I made the AMAZING decision to completely change my ZvP style 3 days before the ladder unlocked. Just a brilliant, brilliant choice by me.

You're not the only zerg with this problem.
Take a look at the latest Morrow games, even if he crushes his opponent: 50 supply lead, base lead, tech lead, ... .He still turtles freaking hard and goes in for the kill when he has a full tier 3 army (ridiculous amount of broods and infestors most of the time).

I guess he does it because simple errors especially in zerg play can screw you over so bad. But on the other hand, the longer the game goes the more errors you can make, I'm not sure if I like his style but it's definitly interesting.
