I got pretty mad in SC chat after starting off my night 0-4 dealing with stupid cheesy builds. Marine rushes, DT rushes. I think the thing that set me off was in my first game PvT I got my nexus hotkey screwed up and it took me like 10 seconds to fix it because it wasn't working right. I couldn't make a probe because a probe and the nexus were together. So my build was screwed up and way off and then all of a sudden the guy is making a bunker right next to my gateway.

And then I played the same guy twice, PvP and I lost both.

But then I played a PvT where the guy actually played a straight up game and I won.

So anyways, sorry to anyone who read what I was saying. No offense and nothing was directed or meant to relate in any way to you. I was really mad and I take back what I said. I'm really fed up with playing against Platinum players. It's like Bronze on steroids.

Well I said some nasty things and you said you were done talking to me so I felt like I probably shouldn't have said those things. I didn't want you or that other guy to be offended.

I don't know. As much as I rage and what not, it's really not like me to start the name calling and using those words in those combinations so I feel bad.

My rant was directed at the people I play against. Ever since I've hit Platinum it's like a whole new ball game. I've seen DTs more times in 31 games (probably like 12-13 PvPs) since the lock than all of the PvPs I've played before then.

I've been marine rushed and zealot rushed so many times I lost count.

To me it just ruins the game. I'm still trying to get better at my standard build that I don't even know how to properly do a cannon rush (the timings of it) or how to rush to DTs or blink stalkers in a PvP. I just play a straight up macro game and then I usually win.

Lately it's also been like I don't have enough minerals. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing, but I feel like I get so behind because of it. I'm pretty sure I'm staying on top of my probe production so I don't think it's a lack of probes. It could be though, I don't know.

please note the above angry protoss player now facing competition is complaining about:

1) zealot proxies
2) DTs
3) marines

and nothing to do with zerg

Haha, well...Here is my breakdown according to Sc2gears.

I'm 15-17 since the lock. I guess that really isn't all that bad. I just know what I've been going through and it's frustrating as all hell. Maybe it's more frustrating because I've been keeping track? I CAN SEE MY LOSSES!!!!

In those 32 games I have played:

PvP: 14 times (4-10)
PvT: 4 times (3-1)
PvZ: 14 times (8-6)

Generally PvZ is my strongest matchup, but I have had games where I've gotten baneling bombed, zergling rushed. I remember a game with the baneling bomb where I saw speedlings, banelings, roaches, infestors, and brood lords. There were a few frustrating games in there.

But it's no different than you hating ZvP and saying how Protoss is imbalanced, but yet your record in ZvP really isn't that bad either.

I'm going to have to do some serious work on memorizing a PvP 4gate. I'd probably never lose with the way these guys have been playing.

Up until I hit platinum I was going on some long winning streaks, or just generally winning in streaks so I guess I'm not used to these losing streaks where it seems like there is no hope. But I can say that I'm finally starting to see how the MMR is working with keeping you at 50%. I think I've hit my skill level.

i dont actually think protoss is imbalanced if it makes you feel better

I can see that building placement running into problems with builds that come fast but slightly later, but yea, in b4 no strat in bbv.

I've been expecting to get reported since I say some crazy things every now and then, but so far I haven't heard anything.

My new favorite thing is after a game when I lose and I tell my opponent that he's an idiot and a little kid, sometimes they send me a chat message saying whatever. I then say something that is open ended or ask them a question, and then instantly block them so when they respond they will see that I blocked them. It makes me feel good about myself that I got the last word.

I highly doubt that I'm the first person to ever block someone. When I'm playing 25 of 32 games against cheesy bull**** builds, it gets irritating.

Gotta snap-block people after you bm them and leave the game so the 12-yr old ******s who get their sole satisfaction out of life from getting a rise out of random people on the internet don't get the pleasure and so they can't spam you in your next game.

I pretty consistently call the players I lose to terrible so the block feature is quite useful.

My block list is full.

My day is made every time someone BM's me that I'm winning against. Just sayin'.

Also, blocking someone after you BM is gay as ****.
