What I love about TvZ is the sorta classic heroism and lore -- the humans trying to fend off infestation from aliens, totally Starship Troopers style. Am I the only one who feels that way? hahah

Stupid by EG and Puma. Koreans are going to be less likely to send their players to foreign tournaments and Puma joins a team with basically no practice partners.

Puma is most likely going to get paid twice as much with EG than with TSL and will win more money playing in foreign tournaments than he would playing GSL. Not to mention even if for some reason he decides to just stay in Korea and play GSL or if NASL was some foreign tournament fluke, he just won $50k so he has a decent parachute. Seems like a no brainer to me.

step 7: pull drones while making overseer
step 8: have 96 gas. 96. ****ing. gas.
step 9: make 3 spore crawlers anyways and block ramp
step 10: apparently ramp isnt blocked (i'd like to murder whoever told me 1 queen can block a ramp)
step 11: but it's ok cause i have a spore in my main
step 12: protoss just forces down spore in about 0.0005 seconds flat cause invisible units clearly need massive dps too

So what you're saying is that 50s wasn't enough time for you to build either a spore and spine at each mineral line or a spore near the entrance to your natural with your army nearby to defend?

As a spectator it bothers me if it influences other Korean teams to not allow players to go foreign events. I'm not saying that will happen, but if it's even a possibility I can be upset and be more than justified.

Also cancelling the dark shrine is prob pretty bad.

i think its great for the sc2 scene in general. it just forces all the teams to be more competitive and serious regarding salaries/contracts/living conditions/etc.

2 of my 3 ZvZ losses were the 2 times I didn't do Titan's build. The 3rd one was when I just made a small error and got overrun by speedings. W

hen I do the Titan ZvZ build order perfectly according to SC2Gears I am 7-0. lol.

ive also realized that when i do the roach attack against some zergs w/o detection they just swarm me in speedlings and dont realize the roaches in red health disappearing arent dying but are burrowing

they insta gg the sec like a dozen roaches they thought were dead pop up, which i find highly amusing.

edit - well actually they dont gg. most people rage first or just quit.

ran into a masters rando player tonight who rolled T and did what i found to be... an interesting build. obviously i played pretty sloppy/bad (was my first 1v1 game in a few days), but i think if he tightened up his BO and hid his tech better, this could be pretty effective as a... different opener. auto-turrets are sick.

Haha, I thought 1 queen blocked a ramp too fwiw. I am kinda curious to see how you could've fumbled so hard. Why didn't you just use your army to hold position on the ramp? Even if you were pure ling, they might've bought you a little time, especially if your opponent wasn't watching his dts.

1 queen does block a ramp as long as you dont breathe through your mouth (which i do)

and i was being greedy cause i thought i could block the ramp and be fine, but once he got by i needed more lings which i had made into drones

You can't seriously believe a professional team wouldn't contract the players who play for them? Fwiw I think this is a great move by EG, but they should have gone to the manager of TSL first. Now, they just come off as giant douchebags AND have unneeded controversy surrounding the move.

Yeah real professional for a manager to come out with a statement and go on a tangent on twitter while EG didn't even make an official statement yet. Can't believe why almost no one on TL is hating on this guy, you can see why entire TSL is going to **** when you got a person like that in the lead. (FYI everyone is jumping ship on TSL)

Imagine if EG could have made an official statement and this TSL-manager didn't go on a twitterwar. You know what would've happened? The same way people responded to Rain joining FnaticMSI, the same way people reacted to FXO buying out fOu.

It's all about how you present it, the manager of TSL ruined it for EG, and to me it's hilarious the posters on team liquid can be deluded and pushed to the edge so easily.
