Look at the bonus pools of the guys right below you. Are they all spent?

The thing with the bonus pool is that if you play a lot more than someone else, your displayed rank will shoot up way higher even if your MMR is the same/lower. So you could be #1 in your division but pretty low in terms of MMR if everyone else around you just isn't clearing their bonus pool.

yeah, I still have about 400-500 bonus pool myself, although if I keep getting matched vT that'll disappear soon enough. although i'm getting tougher players, at one point my last opponent actually took a third base!

But in all seriousness, I think you're taking this game too seriously if you have to create ultimatums like that. What if you're doing well over the next 2 weeks and still don't get promoted?

Got to the 4th round of the TL open. Beat some 1200 point P along the way 4 gate vs 3 gate robo. He then bmed me.

Eventually got beat by a really good protoss player 4 gate vs 4 gate. The sad part his 4 gate was slower than my average 4 gate, I just accidentally rallied 2 probes next to a mineral patch so they weren't mining for a good 30 seconds.

That's what I don't really like about Tal'Darim. They go ffe, and can either super delay our natural while taking an easy natural for themselves, and then we can't take a third quick enough because of those rocks to really catch back up. If you make 10 lings it takes a while to kill rocks, and you also lose out on those 5 drones.

Darkcell played really badly in those matches (I didn't see the 2nd one). His macro was awful, like I macro nearly that well and I'm Gold league. In the last game he got a huge lead and completely threw it away by wasting units, especially the infestors, and waiting far too long to take a third.
