In terms of observing, try to use the middle mouse button scroll for short distances rather than clicking the minimap or scrolling using the edge of the screen. It's easier to follow, less jarring. An example of where this might come in handy would be the early baneling busts when wraths was flanking from the north and east.

You caught it eventually but in the future try to have the replay bar minimized before you start the cast.

Pretty well done imo.

i just solo-casted the saiyen vs. orange best of 3 from the tournament. was kind of hard as the first 2 games are pvp and i dont know a ****ing thing about pvp, but i did my best. also being the only commentator, trying to interpret what is going on while never ceasing the talking AND controlling the camera is hard as ****. a new level of respect for the solo casters who do this.

will process and upload those vids overnight

yea i started doing this. it's actually pretty resource heavy to do the middle button push and drag oddly enough.

im going to do some more casting tonight if we have any good bo3s between diamond or higher guys in the tourney which look interesting enough. if anyone wants to join me, let me know. im going to try to have someone on who plays one of the races from each match up for every game from now on.

I know it's based off of the indian god 'indrajit', but yes it is. Yes 'idra' is a word in Aramaic but his name is unrelated to that word.

Was my first time doing a solo cast and it is a bit awkward for a while, but I think by game 3 I felt more comfortable and fluid. Should get better going forward. Just will take some time to get used to I think.

Official Blizzard confirmation on the ladder lock:

Due to an issue with the Grandmaster league we’ve temporarily locked league reassignments. This means that all ranked games are correctly awarding (and subtracting) points, all changes to player’s internal matchmaking rating continue to be made, but the ability to be promoted/demoted to a different league is temporarily on-hold. When this lock is released, the next win will process the correct standing and any league reassignments will be carried out as they would have.

We currently have a hotfix for the Grandmaster issue in testing, and expect it to be implemented very soon. Once the fix is in and verified the lock will be removed and league standings will continue as normal. We’ll make another announcement at that time.

It’s important to note, again, that your games played now continue to count toward your standing and a possible league reassignment.

Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug that would cause some Leagues & Ladder pages not to show correctly.

The problem was that there was a second GM league created causing some people to get promoted into the second GM league so the only way to stop that from happening was to lock everything.

Hopefully it's fixed now so everyone can go back to being happy.

My suspicion says it's not fixed yet. I just tried clicking on the GM tab and it still shows as Not Ranked Yet.
