You cannot possibly be claiming that having 22 drones, 2 bases with 2 queens is an "all-in" build at 8 minutes.

If so, I'm afraid you're just going to have to go on /ignore.

It's impossible to NOT do soul-crushing damage with this build unless the other guy copied it or blindly made pure drones, no gas, and 10 spine crawlers at his base.

i'm not sure of exactly what build is being discussed i was more alluding to your "if you don't send your workers you're not all-in" argument which is just silly.

just want to add that i highly doubt such a build exists. or else ZvZ would have degenerated into a state similar to PvP when everyone was 4 gating each other. again, just because you can't stop the build doesn't mean its impossible. if you want to prove me wrong i'm all ears but i'm also quite skeptical.

This is the ZvZ version of 4 gate wars.

The reason it seems to work so well is that you protect yourself from the baneling bull**** by getting your roaches out so fast, so the other guy just gives up on it and transitions.

But then 2 minutes later you roll into his base with 10 roaches and 30 lings and he's like "dubyou tee eff mate?" and loses. A heavy baneling mix might beat it otherwise since you rely on those first 10 roaches to lead the charge and tank those initial hits, but your goal is to reinforce with mass lings from 2 hatch / 2 queen.

Reinforce with lings and if he miraculously doesn't die (I'm 3-0 so far with it so I'm not sure, but lol sample size) then you have two queens and an expo so you just spend an entire larva cycle on drones and you now have 35 workers but the other guy lost most of his holding off your attack.

except that not a single pro game has played out that way so......

and no, just no. please link me to a vod of a professional match where someone gets a roach warren before both an expansion and a baneling nest. pretty sure you won't be able to find one, let alone a replay of BOTH players playing 1 base roach.

In any situation where he successfully defends, it was because he did a similar build and you aren't behind at all, or he lost a ****load of drones in the process and again, you aren't behind.

Again, door number 3 is that he managed to build 40 banelings to go up against what he thought was a roach opener.

This is stoppable with superior micro and a non-greedy opener, sure. But so is any build.

But all-in this is most CERTAINLY not.
