That's his standard open, which is usually fine against most stuff, but is super vulnerable (as any quick tech or quick expo build is) to pwny build.

I've seen people have streams where their name was like "Bee Dee" something like that. Might have to change your account in BNET? Or maybe sign up with a shortened name? I don't know.

this is a fantastic metagame move with pwnybuild. the problem is the diamond zergs i play are so bad they dont have an OL or other scout checking the expo location at the natural, so i cant exploit it against them.

so is that the pwny build? build a hatch at nat and just pump slings?

No. Pwny build is:

14 gas @ 100 mins
14 pool
15 evo chamber @ 150 mins
15 OL
Queen then +1 melee attack
cut all drone production and make nothing but lings from here on out
21 OL
ling speed when pool pops, pull drones off gas

at 34/34 supply both +1 and ling speed should simultaneously finish. drop a hatch then move out.

i sometimes will throw guys back on gas if i think they have banes and i will use offensive banelings. banelings are obviously the counter to this build. it largely lolz @ roaches, but if the roaches clog up the ramp properly, you just need to chill outside, deny his expo and drone up behind it.

if you don't do damage, you are behind, so you either need to just deny their expo for a while and use yours to regain a tech/drone advantage or you need to do something damaging such as killing their army or drones or queens or all of the above (the latter happens quite often).

see, that sounds complicated.

Was just watching NyDGMMA play on Backwater Gulch, PvZ.

He did a forge opening where he placed a cannon at the bottom of the Zerg's ramp causing him to cancel his expo. NyD couldn't find where the guy expanded to. About a minute later he sees the creep coming towards his Nexus. The guy made a proxy hatchery in NyD's base and he never knew it. He was too focused on finding it that he never checked his own base. And then for some reason one of his zealots wouldn't go up his ramp. I'm not sure if it was a changeling or what, but it seemed really early in the game. He didn't watch the replay so I'm clueless what was going on.

couldnt play all day, finally log on at 1:30, fire up a ladder game, and bnet drops me at 20 food. can't log back on either

some of the things i've seen in the past 2 days

1) triple pylon blocks on my ramp by protoss, its still ****ing OP, its still ****ing bull****, you still cant come back from it happening and win vs a competent player, and blizz solution was to make it cost 100 more mins? gimme a ****ing break. theres a reason why all tournament maps have ****ing ramp blockers you dumb ****s at blizzard.

2) cannot cannot cannot beat protoss in any type of game, whether it be aggression, macro, etc, it just dosent matter. they're just unbeatable to me right now. no offense to any of the protoss players on this forum, but it seriously tilts the **** out of me that these guys i see on ladder think they are so ****ing good when they are just exploiting a currently BROKEN ****ING MATCHUP. a lot of them get cocky and BM me, and it used to not bother me, now i just want to reach through the monitor and ****ing strangle these stupid ****ing kids.

3) ogsMC nexus cancel 4 gate that i just die to every time

4) 6 gates galore, where you have to blind counter it or you just die, and if you don't win the battle by a significant margin you're still going to proabably lose

5) all terrans walloff and do a 1 base allin, but only let you see 1 marine at the front. guess wrong you lose. hellion/marauder/scv seems to be the latest one i cant seem to beat. i think ZvT would be fine if zerg had a way to scout. please dont say sac an overlord, if you don't send your first OL exactly to his base on a 4p map you won't even have the opportunity to be denied.

whatever, i've just about had it with this game in its current state. i'm even starting to get matched up with diamond guys (well just one) and i still cant beat them.

lol i just ran 12 ultras and 35 banes against a depleted toss death ball... i think my favorite part is when he activated all his guardian shields.

Back story: Get matched up with this Toss guy on XNC. I don't really have a ****ing clue how to play vs. Toss on XNC, so I did the expand to his natural build spines and LOL cheese (did it every time I got close pos with toss tonight and it worked every. single. time.)

Worked like a dream obv. Villain started berating me in chat, cursing up a storm and repeatedly calling me a terrible player.

As soon as the game ended I chatted him "If I'm terrible, you must be really bad since u just lost to me! I hope u can improve!" then snapblock.

I dick around my PC for a few minutes, hit regame and voila it's dickhead again. Not only is it him again, but it's on the granddaddy macro map of them all: Tal'Darim. Haven't wanted to lololwin a game so bad in my life.

I unblock him right away and start chatting. I'll let the replays speak for itself. I honestly think you'll be entertained.

Note: my play in game 2 is really bad cause it's one of my standard late night (early morning) games. I won cause he was terriawful, but I made a lot of mistakes so don't judge me! I would appreciate any commentary tho.
