so ****in tilted. im only at 2250 and have been playing people anywhere from 1900-2400 lately. i beat some slightly favored 2200's dude and suddenly im playing 2600's, and after losing 3 in a row, i get back to playing 2200's except now im slightly favored. lose 2 more and then play some 2000's and win 1, then drop 4 more games all of which i somehow became slightly favored against people with more points than me.

in the end i guess i tilted cause i lost 150 points going like 3-12

I've had 3-4 of those horribad downswings myself. The worst part is I did so so well just before it. I think on my last one I went something like 14-2, then 4-17. Sooooo frustrating.

Same here. I always have the worst tilting downswings right after huge ego-boosting upswongs.

This game was so tilting. I spend the last like 10 minutes of the game throwing armies at him because psi storm is op and I can't land a ****ing EMP if my life depended on it. The food is like 180 to 100 and he is defending me like nobody's business. At least I won. So stressed out now.

Also willing to take brutal criticisms on improvements, if anyone bothers to watch it.

at the main engagement i think you stimmed a little early, and you needed to EMP those HT's ASAP. ( the first one)

you had way too few medivacs imo, you had 3 escorting a drop or something? should have been with the main army


at the last big fight, i really like the cloak ghosts -> leading the way for emp, worked out well, except for the fact you missed the EMP on like 10 HT's bunched at the top of the ramp, if you take those out you still have a huge army. overall your macro was really strong and you continued to take bases/spend/upgrade, so nothing to feel bad about. PVT late game comes down to who can EMP/feedback/storm the best, thats just how it ends up late game =/

edit:by last big fight i meant when you were pushing up his ramp from his natural, the other fights after that like i said its just storm/feedback vs EMP

Hey guys I just wanted to let you know I haven't abandoned the forum or SC2. I really, really miss playing and I miss posting here/hanging out on vent. I've just been so busy with law school finals. As soon as I have time, I really want to organize an invitational tournament on the forums with our top players which will be broadcast live with commentary by some of the guys here.

The game autosaves when you complete a mission, I'm pretty sure you can just load these while you're connected to bnet to get the achievements.

There is a pop-up down left corner in a small blue box when b.net achievements comes on or offline. While it's infrequent, it can turn off and back on in a split second which is still enough to ruin most achievements.

I had to do "Hurry Up: It's Raid Night" twice. If you do that I'd recommend manually saving at the beginning and just before the end of every mission. If you crash at load screens, it will jack up this achievement. You should avoid end of mission auto-saves for this. So if you tend to crash, load up the last save of the previous level, and then save at the start of the next.

I'd love to talk campaign if anyone has any questions, it's probably the only area of the game where I'm an expert compared to all you multiplayer diamond gurus.

I beat campaign on Hard and am going back through on Brutal. Its actually easier because between my hard and brutal run I have a couple hundred games of 1v1.
I'm up to In Utter Darkness now. I got there like 3 weeks ago and haven't even tried it yet. I hated that mission on hard, I don't even want to play it on brutal.

Haven't watched replay, but TvP is probably my toughest matchup right now.
TvT I feel I really understand all the dynamics really well.
TvZ I have a couple build orders I really like, and feel they give me a good setup for mid game.
TvP I just feel lost if I can't clean them up with a quick rush. I should probably play a dozen or so games against AI as P and just learn the race better.
