Brag: beat a high diamond terran putting me at 13-1 in my last 14.

Beat: next game got paired with the same guy on the same map (DO which he amazingly didn't siege abuse the first game), had mouse issues 5 seconds in, and the little dickweed unpaused while I was tabbed out for like 10 seconds fixing it.

they should really make it that you cant unpause for 1min or something.

they can easily write code to make the time shorter for abusers of the pause button (people who pause after losing their army or what not). i had a phone call once and a little ****** unpaused and it pissed me off to no end.

Yeah it pissed me off so much I plan on waiting a week or two before I message him telling him how dickless he is so he won't remember who it's coming from.

Even worse that he only tried annoying little bitch tactics in game 1 (reapers and banshees) and just auto-quit when he scanned that I had 3 saturated bases to his 1 mined out base without even throwing his little army at me.

my pattern:

-play really well
-win a bunch of games
-get to #1 in my plat league
-lose a bunch of games in the ****tiest way possible: cannon rushes, proxies, misclicks, disconnects
-never get promoted to diamond
-repeat

It might take a while but you will get there, just be patient.

And plus, diamond doesn't mean all that much, I'm diamond and I suck.

It's funny, when I play with everyone on here, I realize how bad I am. But on ladder, it feels like the completely opposite.

Sometime this week. There aren't really brackets as this is preliminary. They have like 15 groups of what looks like ~30players. We play 12 matches against people in our groups (bo1) and then the top 8 from each group move on to the next phase. My group is:

Lost to a 900 diamond earlier who cannoned rushed. I did everything wrong (last time I've gone against a cannon rush was when I was in gold).

I messed up on my re-cheese bunker& rax in base by being impatient and building my first bunker in his vision which allowed him to use all his probes to kill my scv building the bunker. The second mistake I made was not lifting off right away to the expo behind the destructible rocks on steppes. Instead I stupidly lifted off to the 3 o'clock expo where he just proceeded to build cannons all around me once again. He said something like "your done lol" so I lifted off again and just put my buildings in corners of the map and typed, "have fun I'm going to eat dinner".

I love playing against cheeses because they are so satisfying to dominate and easy to counter with decent scouting, but god it sucks to lose to them (ESPECIALLY CANNON RUSHES!).

I looked up the guys match history and the only maps he played on were all only 2 player 1v1 match which leads me to believe he got to 950 diamond through cannon rushing alone. I seriously hope this guy gets 2-3 incurable stds.

Hah back in SC1 I used to proxy hatch all the time in TvB no rush fast money maps to get my 200 fully upped hydras into the other base. Or I'd make a couple arbiters and do recall of on my massed carriers. Fun times.

I lose to a Terran player on Metalopolis 4 bases to his 3. At one point I had him 4 bases to 2. I have fully upgraded units to his 1/0. I had colossi early, but have to ditch that for hts, he masses ghosts. His 30 food smaller army a moves and emps me to death, nothing I can do. I have to lay down perfect micro with a bigger more upgraded army to beat a smaller bio+ghost army. This is ridiculous.

It hasn't been said enough, Terran requires so much less micro and skill than the other two races.

a 4 base protoss should never, ever lose to a terran. you likely played very bad. generally late game protoss > terran with any sort of micro skill and it's not close if the terran isnt hard countering your every move and doesnt have the macro advantage.

also i think you may have mistaken yourself for a zerg. they're the ones that QQ about terran imba.

if he actually built 30 ghosts, i dont see how you lost lol. void rays + carriers + zealots should rape that army.

and if you had 4 bases you could have vvvv easily transitioned into it
