SC2 is down and I had prop bets for today between me and my friend.

First stipulation is you must play 20 1v1 games, if you do not play 20 games you lose, if you both don't play 20 games whoever played the most wins.

Second stipulation is that after your first 20 1v1 games, person with best record wins the bet. Loser buys a 6pack of winners choice for tonight.

He's diamond and grinds a lot harder than I do so he will definitely play 20 games (IF THE ****ING SERVER EVER COMES BACK UP). And since it matches up people close to your skill level it's kind of a tossup about who wins more I think. I just wanted more motivation to grind with MLG getting closer.

I've so far avoided all random team-based games as they are consistently populated by ****-tards.

Step in a 2v2 because it sounds fun.

Teammate leaves 20 seconds in. -_-

And I'm done with that **** forever.

I got exactly one teammate who wanted to attack. He wouldn't send his units in before I did, and he wasn't aware enough to send when I did (even with map pings and text). So I'd send in and get slaughtered because it's 2v1. And he was the GOOD teammate.

ZvT I overlord scout factory reactor, get 2 roaches out, saturate expos, see like 20 marines+ factory and like hmm I got this, got like 10-15 lings outside his base, a few roaches at mine, getting mutas out... then he drops my main w/ all those marines... ( scrapstation ).

Whenever I feel like I have a really strong start in ZvT ( last 3-4 games I just get maindropped instead ). NOT GOING TO DIE TO THAT **** ANYMORE!

Lost my first placement match. TvT, knew it wasn't looking good when he got a good herass with his scouting SCV...also screwed up a bit in the beginning by clicking 3-S instead of 4-S and only noticing I wasn't building SCVs at like 120 minerals

Its a lot easier to win if your teammate leaves 20 seconds in esp on maps where you spawn near your teammate. They were probably going to be mostly useless but now you get all their minerals and unlike your opponents only have to build one set of tech structures. I go really fast chargelot + 3stargate void ray and wreck them no contest every time its happened to me.

So, I had finally gotten my record to .500, was #2 in my bronze division, and was cursing the sc2 gods for not moving me up to silver.

I then proceeded to go on my worst losing streak ever at 0-8 including an epic 1 hour loss. I want to break things.

After winning so much, to get yourself to .500, they probably started pairing you up against Silver and Gold players to see if you were worthy of the promotion. Don't look at it as you're losing to worse players (Bronze) because most likely you were playing against better players compared to who you have been playing in your win streak.

For those who have been promoted up a division. Does it just happen immediately after a match, or is it some sort of update they do overnight? I just made Rank 1 bronze last night and have been beating all the silver players they throw at me.
