G3 of the Innovation-Dark semis just now is one of the best SC2 games I've ever seen

It's funny to watch Has play; he successfully cannon rushes Snute, then goes into mass oracle while taking lots of bases and transitions into mass carrier/void ray. But then, he maxes out while Snute is still on, like, hydras and a few corruptors (and he's also maxed, but you don't want mass hydra vs carrier)...and in his moment to move across the map and win, he doesn't, he sits back and lets Snute build a billion spores and split the map.

He still wins off the superior economy he secured himself early while Snute spent the entire rest of the game trying to hold his fringe bases, but like, he never builds a robo (so with no observers, his ability to fight back creep is super limited, he's using oracle revelations to do it and only sporadically); he never builds a mothership (he has a core and loses it and forgets/doesn't care to replace it); he never builds a templar archive for storm.


Dude is always fun to watch, though. Game 4? 3 quick bases, then a hidden 4th in the unused third starting location on Catallena with two more stargates (on top of the one in his main) to wall it off. LOL

Afreeca ASL stream was OK for the first couple of games but then lagged like crazy, really need to switch to high quality as opposed to source but it's makes the thing look like crap

ASL group C wasn't terrible but didn't have anything really worth watching apart from the final match, and even then 40 minute TvT isn't to everyone's tastes. There are cattlebruisers though

Like that new goldrush map. Watched a replay of Bisu vs Effort with sair/reaver in to carriers.

Seeing carriers and devourers in a ZvP is so refreshing.

Have seen today's losers game in ASL described as the weirdest game since Free v Hiya. Reading through the live report I can see why, both players using units that are basically never used in their match ups

I am loving playing through the SC1 storyline again. I just started the Zerg missions in Brood War.

I don't think the Wings of Liberty campaign was all that interesting but once I got in to Heart of the Swarm I was hooked. Legacy of the Void also amazing.

Just finished the ASL vods , hiya's games were the highlight of the day for me. Cool tricks!
