Never played the original and super pumped for Tuesday’s release

That is awesome you are hopping in fresh. I was hoping it would be a new game, not a re master but I'm still curious to see how well they update it.

Played the original on ps2 and it was absolutely amazing. One of the only criticisms was that they should have waited till the next generation system because it was such an ambitious game and the ps2 hardware struggled at times. Also the controls were a bit heavy/clunky.

I watched a featurette on PlayStation and I'm extremely excited. They rebuilt the game from the ground up and it looks absolutely stunning. They have also updated the controls (though players will have the option to play with the original control scheme if they prefer).

With the original story, music, and overall experience intact, this should be one of the best releases of the year ainec.

Picked it up and crushed 9 colossi the first day. Game is just beautiful and a steal at $40. They even improved the HUD.
