I did reach out to Apple via their promotional page which I believe is now the same thing as sending an e-mail to one of the addresses you've mentioned.

With a name change, you are probably right and it's a reasonable grown up thing to do but I have a couple issues here.
First of all, I still don't have an idea for a better name. I think I had a dream lately where I came up with a much better name but I couldn't remember it when I woke up so that's that.
The second thing is that I've already seen many limitations of this project regardless of the silly name. In short, the game is a niche inside the niche inside another niche. You need to know poker (first niche) and particularly be able to enjoy Chinese poker style of mechanics (another niche) and be the person who's into puzzly thinky stuff instead of "I'm all in baby" and on top of that be the one who actually plays single player games on the phone and open to trying new things.
There are not that many people who actually care about this kind of game and when people search for poker games in app store they search for something very different.

That being said the better name would still be a lot of help for reaching that limited audience but as far as my personal interests go I've received my share of fun and experience working on this project and achieved most of my internal goals with it so I'm ready to move on. I will continue to promote the game as an exercise in marketing and a way of getting out of the comfort zone but don't think that the name change is coming.

upd: After some thought. If we'll have enough reason to expand the game further with other game modes, daily challenges, some sort of multiplayer then it would be very reasonable to change the name. We'll need to redo half of the interface to fit new features anyway. Currently, there no such plans and name change for the sake of a name change doesn't feel like it's worth it.

An update for iOS with Game Center achievements is live on the app store.

Since we now have Game Center and Play Services integrations and there are not that many people playing the game we might as well add a global leaderboard next.
