what's that trophy in his left hand?

Can someone point me in the direction of a decent headset/mic. I don't want to pay $200, but I want something with decent quality. My mic is just garbage.

I've been using Turtle Beach P11's recently. I loved my PX21's but they seem to have an issue of breaking as I know at least 2 other 2p2ers had theirs break on them in the same fashion as mine.

Those are compatible with PS3 and XBox 360 which I'm going to assume means absolutely nothing to you.

The P11's are $50 on amazon 59.99 on TB's website(amazon ldo). The PX21's which are more comfortable and have better sound, but like I said seem to be a little fragile are 64.99 on Amazon.

I'm sure there are other options out there especially from senhauser or however you spell it. But I find the P11's to be decently comfortable and I am fairly clumsy with stuff and break it(I call it former football player syndrome) and they are in great shape and I get good quality out of them.

Just stuff I've had and enjoyed.

Good enough for me, I also needed an excuse to renew my Amazon Prime, so that works.

Go with P11's I take it? Either pair is a good purchase for the price anyway.

eh, Turtle Beaches are definitely lacking when it comes to sound quality.

Unless they're somehow better for pc compared to xbox (seems unlikely). My Tritton AX-720's sound waaaay better than the two different Turtles my buddy has gone through.

Not saying you should get the ones I have, just saying I've had a good pair to compare against the TB's and I can emphatically say the Tritton's are superior.

If you've never had anything better than the TB's this probably won't be an issue of course. People swear by their TB's, but that's because we all convince ourselves that the product we bought is better than it really is.

They also cost 2.6 times as much. I'd hope they are better.

I'm not buying headphones, I'm buying a headset, I don't really care if the sound quality isn't optimal.
