I'm not really sure how I'm twisting your words. You use 2v2 experiences to support claims that you are/would be really good at 1v1s. You continually do so, despite being told by pretty much everyone that 2v2 experience is irrelevant to 1v1s. Serious question: what 1v1 do you think you belong in?

Also, no, you aren't playing a macro game if you just do a 1base AI. 1base AIs are basically short-stacking at a poker table. You're looking to minimize the skill disadvantage by shortening the hand. Macro games are sitting down with 100BBs or more. You try to capitalize on your skill advantage by drawing the hand out as long as possible. It's exactly the same in SC2. The longer the game goes, the more opportunities the better player has to make more correct decisions, which leads to a win. In case you couldn't tell, I'm talking about cash games btw, so I don't wanna hear "but in a tournament, sometimes you're forced to play a short stack". By only doing silly 1base AIs every game, you're admitting that you're an inferior player. Because, in actuality, a superior player wants the game to go on as long as possible because of the reason above.

Btw, 11/11 rax is cheese. Cutting economy for an earlier attack is pretty much a universal attribute of cheese.

I gave the context in the quote

I make no claim that I am really good. 2v2 is still starcraft, the same concepts apply, the best random 2v2 is still going to be a beast in 1v1, the best 2v2 is probaly also one of the best in 1v1 and vice versa.

I cannot say, lots of silver players are better than platinum players... I was in 2v2 the other day and some guy was calling me a noobbecause I was trying a bc build off 1 base which did not work. so I challenged him to 1v1, he said 'lol silver league ok then' so I played him and owned him, he was diamond 1v1. I have played gold players in 1v1 who have owned me, these are usually toss players. Once I plug a leak or two then pretty sure I could give masters players a good game in all conditions.

this build is not a 1v1 base all in, I am just being aggressive early as to constrict and pressure their game play. If they chrono zealots I am going to double expand. If the fights are equal then we will macro at steady pace, continuing to macro as normal but always fighting at the same time. I have come to relaise that this is the key to having a stronger learnign curve as it forces multitasking. It also forces a very similar system in the decision tree meaning I will become more efficient wheras opponenets ould be investing experience into different types of games. It is like someone can be very strong withroy lopez doing it over and over and beat a stronger player with this opening but overall being a poorer player, but does that matter? what is wrong with always doing the roy lopez?

All games start with both being a short stack. You can start and continue to be aggressive as stacks increase. It really is a bad analogy anyway.

It is hardly losing any economy, it is a sacrifice in order to damge their economy or win. If I don't attack then they can just not buid any units and macro, it is like letting zerg drone constantly, it is a mistake, if I do this tactic I cannot moan when they punish it with aggression and cry 'cheese noob!'. I am not doing the 8 marine+scv pull all in, I am sending a few marines and tryign to build a bunker, kills probes, do good trades, and macro behind it, outplay from the start. Cannon rush is defined as cheese and they are vasytly different. Nexus first might aswell be called a cheese. Again, cheese is a dumb word, there are just different openings. All I'm doing is developing a defined system on how to play and channeling my thoughts through this medium as this is a place where starcraft 2 thoughts can collect and evolve, at least I hoped.

^^worthless post...

funny how people say to ban me and ignore these people who offer no thought whatsoever but just ego perspective based opinion/insult. BY saying I am delusional you are making claims about yourself being completely realist and sane. I am really not interested in how you perceive yourself or others.

Well I was like Top 20 or something in 2v2 for quite some while and pretty much everyone sucked there.

Tbh you have absolutely no clue of SC2. If I see you doing that, I get some stalkers and kite you forever. Alone the walkingtime for your units is ridic long.

Basically I would say against a good player you lose nearly everytime, prolly like 90% of the time. You won`t do any damage at all and just lose stuff(Good people won`t lose a single unit to you) + you are behind in eco.

Nexus first is not cheese on a lot of Maps because they are so big that you easily defend everything.

If you ever outplay someone with 11/11 he is prolly so ******ed that he outplays himself.

you can't stop a bunker being made with stalker , you can't stop rines killing a few probes either.. I think 2 zealots are needed before stalker comes out. Depends on map also with walking time. It is working wonders at my level,,, not saying it would work at the highest levels but it is still a good opening as it forces certain things out of the opponent which you can react to yourself.

if you mean have the stalker at my base and kite on the way to yours, then maybe, but I'm not sure if you can have a stalker in time. maybe terran can send 3 marines and 1 scv before stalker is made?

btw I am 8-1 since using this opening. The 1 I lost was ironically a nexus first but I failed so hard. Yes my opponents are bad relative to the gms, but I am bad also.

For the love of god someone lend Fishnoob a N/A account and let him play narwhal or Gospy or Karak or pwncakery or one of the 10-15 diamond to master players that 2p2 has. Then we can see replays and maybe determine if this guy is the next Flash....

This has gone on long enough. Seriously.

Yeah I can stop a bunker being made with my stalkers, I just kill the scv. And no you can`t have 3 marines and 1 scv before I got one stalker. If you proxy yes, is it cheese then yes.

And definitely you won`t get even near my probes.

I would play him on EU, if he is on EU? Bit out of shape but w/e

This is completely wrong. If it doesn't work at the highest levels, it's not a good opening. Why would you use an opening that works at your level, but not higher? There are a myriad of other openings that work just as well at your level, while also working at the highest levels. It makes no sense at all to work so hard on an opening that you're going to have to ditch soon because it will just stop working.

Edit: Fishnoob, PM me. I'll lend you my smurf sometime so you can play on NA. Earliest I can play is probably 7pm EST tomorrow night though.

You can still micro at the start and play a macro game as well. When I open 1 gate expo vs Terran I am constantly harassing the bunker at their natural trying to pick off scvs etc. If they didnt 1 rax expo themselves then they are doing some sort of aggressive build which ill need to defend.

If you can't beat toss and zerg late game then you need to get to more late game situations so you can improve and be able to win. Avoiding the situation all together allows for no improvement and you are missing out on a significant part of the game. Stupid poker analogy but it applies....if you cant play AA post flop, pushing PF every time you get it might show a bit of profit, but you never actually learn how to play it post flop.
