totally random thought i need to bounce off ya'll (jk dont respond :-P) i have a $920/month lease ending here in a week in dallas, a reloc of when i had some scrilla, and where i have a job and am searching around for places to live when all of a sudden it hits me... i make like $10/hr... if i sign a $600/mo lease thats probably going to cost 70 working hours of my time. my family lives in north dallas but im not moving back there 1.5 hr ride on a train from this job and cant even ride home some nights. so i have a friend with 2 others living in his 1 br, 1 of them schizophrenic lol, and i can occasionally sleep and shower there since he owes me alot and is a good friend. so my decision, made just now, is that i'm going to ecome homeless and sleep outside a lot charging my iphone while i work and using my Dallas Area Rapid Transit pass i get for free bc my dad works there. lol.

i'm currently sitting out the donkiest tournament series on earth occuring in oaklahoma a mile away at winstar and it's ****ing killing/motivating me to just save so i can get back into a casino.

i have this other option of going home and living the quiet life while getting a neuroscience degree which is 80% complete taking out phat loans but just can't manage that right now.

hmmm seems like it but it's really just temporary and i have incredibly enormous safety nets to fall back on (friends owe me 10k and are going to pay out soon and parents are very willing to take me in) it's just about saving 6-12-1800 dollars and being adventurous and lastly but not leastly forcing myself into a spot where i have infinite time to better myself and zero comfort to indulge in.

lately ive been super duper healthy eating no sugar and keeping very fit eating tons of fish and learning tons of spanish in spare time. i think its just going to force me to focus and become even more minimal/healthy/active and i see zero downside tons of upside. i live like a slob (not totally) when i allow myself an apartment to wallow in and sleep all day long in why not eliminate that. i'm looking fwd to it a lot right now.

Naa, not doing the river, no time and not comfy with the $2100 buy in. I want to do some of the smaller ones, but not gonna take off work for them.

I can think of a lot better ways to be adventurous than living on the street.

get a small tent and go backpack around the country hitch hiking. i've always wanted to do that.

dude victim to drug abuse wasnt the exact right choice of words to go with but a person who abuses drugs typically does because his getting ****ed up is a potion of genetic predisposition, lack of spirituality or self knowledge, and environment. i mean typically falling victim is the case in that sense, my little brother, a heroin addict, is a perfect example of just having no chance and being the result of his environment genetics and wherewithal or whatever. i feel most addicts are victims in that sense and feel bad for them.

i think if im homeless i wont **** around and do drugd but rather be in a position to show what im really made of or whatwver.

You're 80% of the way done with a neuroscience degree and you'd rather be homeless than live at home and finish your degree? What do you think being homeless is going to help you accomplish? What are you going to do with your time? Or for that matter, your life? No offense, but you're coming across as mentally on the fritz here. Your plan is not rational.

And there are a wide variety of drugs out there and not all of them are addictive or harmful if used in a reasonable manner.

But yeah, becoming homeless isn't going to solve your problems with self control.
