SC2 Low Content Thread: no u - Page 59 - Video Games

I was going to get one, but like 70% of the reviews says it died in the first 6 months. Or the scroller went out or one of the mouse buttons messed up. So, I opted for the logitech mx518

Mine lasted two years. It's a weird mouse to both get used to and move away from. The shape is a bit strange, but I liked it.

heh, sounds about right

while looking for expert cannon rushing tips, as i've played three games as protoss without cheesing, i found this video which may be old but is pretty funny:

edit - now 1-3 in placement matches. quite funny playing against some terran that just sits in his main making marines while i mass cannons/stalkers/lots in his natural

i'm starting to get the hang of remembering to use chrono boosts, not get myself supply blocked, etc etc

just played a PvT on shakuras where someone lost to my four gate very easily. how can someone have 170 wins and never:

- use hotkeys
- use rally points
- scout

in the entire game?

good macro for the win. i saw an article on team liquid i think about a guy you literally never micros and just wins out macroing people to masters. not hard. get early expo, build some units, dont die to cheese or air, get 3rd, death ball with maxed unit army and upgrades.

its so hard to get demoted in this system, more fair test IMO would be to see if you can take a fresh account to masters without using rallys

Did you really have to manually select each worker/unit after it was produced and move it to join the rest of your army/send it to mine in BW?

I just played a few games without rallies for either drones or units. Although I suppose it wasn't within the exact limits of karak's lines. I did std overlord scouting and sometimes put out a scouting ling, and as usual just hotkeyed my hatches only. Playing with no rallies was somewhat challenging...it's a lot harder to get the "swarm" going without being able to funnel reinforcements directly into the battle. I did get a little more comfortable with it as I progressed. Something I noticed throughout all my games was that I stopped droning wayyy earlier than I normally would. Not sure why. Anyway, went 3-1.

g4 is probably the best one.

there were rally points in BW, but they didn't cause workers to start mining, so you'd put the rally point right next to the minerals and have to manually select each worker to tell it to start mining.
