brood war unit.
similar to broodlord, instead of shooting broodlings though it just had a regular long range attack.

Haha thanks man I appreciate it. If anyone is interested in hearing the interview, we have it all archived. Lemme know and I can shoot you a link. It was a lot of fun (and lasted like 2 hours!)

Also have Jamie Gold, Shaun Deeb and prob the most informative one with Chuck Kidd who runs an offshore site and payment processor. He's just about the only person in the industry willing to open up publicly about how this stuff works.

Where has Shaun Deeb been? I briefly read something somewhere, but don't know if it's true that he retired from online poker? (before the shutdown, obv)

Anyone have any recommendations for a new cellphone from Verizon?

I've never had a phone with a touchpad so I'm thinking I'd like to try something like that. Everything I've ever had was a flip phone because when I was working I would keep it in my pocket and didn't want the screen to get scratched. Now that is no longer a problem so I want to try something new.

One problem I'm coming across is that these new smartphones and whatever else phones there are with these touchpads require data plans, which means I'll probably have to fork over more money per month. I don't need/want the data plan, but if I have to have it then I guess I will.

I'm eligible for a new upgrade since it has been 2 years since I last bought one. Right now I have the Samsung Alias 2.

I was looking at the iPhone 4, but I don't even know if I have any use for that since I probably won't use the apps all that much (do they all cost money?). There doesn't seem to be much else. I don't want a slide phone, flip phone, or a blackberry with all of those little buttons.

Wait til Sept and get the iPhone 5 if you are going the iPhone route. I have the iPhone 3g and can't wait to dump it to get a google phone.

I have an Inspire on AT&T. I thought I would hate the huge screen but after having it for a few weeks it feels weird to have anything smaller.

I think the Verizon equivalent is the Thunderbolt. It just has like a front facing camera too or something.

Plus it has "4g" or whatever they are calling it. I get like a little over 3mbps which is kinda ****ty but w/e/

I've been waiting for over a year to get a new phone. I had the Alias 1, upgraded to the Alias 2 because I liked the buttons (if you don't know what I mean, look up the Alias 2 and check them out). But after using them for awhile I realized that the phone lagged a lot when it had to process things quickly. Like if I was sending a text message and I got one at the same time the phone would lock up and restart. It was annoying.

The Thunderbolt costs over $200. Not really sure I want to spend that much.

I just checked now and the Droid Incredible is on there. It wasn't on there the last few days, which is the reason why I didn't mention it as a possibility. I've used that one before when I was helping someone with their phone so I kind of know what that one looks like. I know it's a fairly popular model, but it's $169.

I think either the iPhone or the Incredible are my top 2 picks, but if I should wait for the iPhone 5, then maybe I'll just skip the iPhone all together and get the Incredible...???

Same here, except I want an iphone 5. I still have to decide if I should object to "no flash" out of principle, though. My 3g is so slow it tilts me.

I have the Incredible. I like it, its not incredible - I don't know if newer phones on the market are significantly better but you can probably get a better deal than that.

i can't actually remember the last time i watched an sc2 game that wasn't in the tsl

gsl clashes with brood war and there's no free vods
nasl is on too late, restream is nice but it'd be easier with vods oh wait they're not free either, plus we're now getting towards the stage where a ton of the games are meaningless
mlg is great when the stream actually works, which is basically never
i had no idea what that ipl thing was about, oh wait it's finished? nevermind
there's a ton of minor recurrent cups but it's really hard to find integrated information/streams about a lot of them

i'd like to watch a lot more but watching live is inconvenient, and watching on replays is much the same and there's maybe so much choice. someone needs to come up with a highlights show

First off using beer salt to enhance beers is my new standard since I can't afford the beers that don't necessitate beer salt and beer salt is good. Damn good.

Second thing is I'm about to get really good at starcraft. I'm not all willy-nilly anymore and know how to play each race pretty well now and am a lock to be better than all of you. And I'm gonna stop drinking and quit my job which sucks and takes all my time up and then it's on at that point.

Other thing is I watched so much day9 and gsl and nasl and tsl and replays that I'm such a badass and it took months (plural because it was two months) but I'm gettin there.

Last thing is if you're in Dallas and have job opportunities I'd appreciate a referral.
