So the DTs just chased the terran's army around, which included Thors and Hellions. Incontrol had over 1000 minerals so he was able to rebuild his base. The terran had to "gg" because he had no way to stop the the DTs from killing him.
Wow this sounds similar to games I used to have.
On short air maps vs Z I'd go thor drop and as soon as my drop left I'd double star port cloaked banshees and move out when I had three.
It was a coinflip. If he had a hydra den or spire up when I got there I'd lose, if not I'd win. There were a few times though when he'd have like all roaches and base trade with me. I could float off a CC though and he'd have no AA to stop my banshees.
Don't do it any more though, too gimmicky.

that and you should lose by that point because the cost of making a medivac, thor, 3 banshees and cloak is ridiculously high and has to take 14 years. there's no reason they shouldn't have a spire then unless they are going straight for infestors which is pretty rare.

but you're terran, so maybe not!

Granted, all this post is going to do is piss off Zerg and lead to a Terran OP conversation, but whatever.

Its been so long since I tried that, I went and pulled up my handy dandy build order optimizer, and here's what i got (I was mistaken, it was 2 banshees out of double starport, not 3 when i attacked)

standard OC opening.
have Thor & medivac before 6:30 mark
2 banshees with cloak before 9:00 mark
2 more banshees before 10:00 mark
does not cut any scvs

I haven't 1v1'd in a while, but i think mutas were usually around the 10 min mark.

If your thor does any damage it should slow that down at least some.

if you are good at micro and save your thor and dropship, you can repair your thor and drop him again as your first 2 banshees come in.

when your first two banshees get there you ahve to do a quick scout of main and natural pick off spire/hydra/evo/lair to prevent AA from getting out. If your 2nd pair of banshees got there before mutas were out, gg.

Has anyone plugged in their pc to their tv using hdmi? A couple of us did this last weekend and it was wonderful. We watch all sorts of streams and 1v1s for hours. Highly recommend.

Was reading the JackyPrime interview on Gom. He is the guy who made the new GSL maps.

Was just wondering if anybody knows of a good resource to learn how to use the map editor? Anything that could help me with the basics and what not? Also, maybe how to create those fun games --- starjeweled, nexus wars, etc.?
