This should find its way into a separate thread/discussion IMO. Tasteless is just a talking out of his ass lib, that's all. Him and artosis felt the need to mention their disbelief in the death penalty on a cast off some random tangent from a worker/unit dying. It's fine, I still think they're both consummate professionals, and though the thought that the US is a 2nd world country is quite ridiculous, it might not be if all you know of it is sensationalized negative stories/accounts of life/events there (He mentions healthcare is better in the GOMTV documentary/interview, whatever IMO).

edit cause i felt mean:

it's a republic, but what you think in your head as "democracy" (like most people) is probably an accurate representation.

2 party system has a long history in the US. the reason 2 parties dominate politics has a lot to do with the procedural aspects of how elections are held. also has a bit to with luck and some interesting history.
