While kpop music may not always be my first choice, especially when playing starcraft, there are some good songs and generally it's far better than American pop music IMO.
wondering if any of you guys can clear something up for me... i don't really have a lot of intellectual friends especially when it comes to politics (and i myself am pretty darn ignorant on the subject)
i'm been gorging me eyes out watching the republican primaries crying about how can this be real, etc, these idiots, etc, and it sparked a conversation with my dad who is a staunch fox news tea party weirdo republican with strong viewpoints which he mostly garners from TV but doesn't really express to other people except maybe a friend or two over drinks... real smart and nice guy, just a victim of believing in this wackoness on tv and AM radio, imo...
well i don't really understand the republican party's underlying message, or meaning, or motive or whatever... so that's what i'm asking about and here's the debate with my dad that brought this up cuz it's kind of funny...
the conversation went something like this, "i don't understand how you support these guys when their motto is just less government and more free enterprise... meaning you want to eliminate governance towards no governance at all, and free up ways to garner the most money possible for yourself and likeminded others, putting the money in the hands of fewer, more elite people, and trusting that everything will work itself out this way."
he replied, "well no, you see, there are so many federal state and city regulations and laws or whatever and there just needs to be less government"
can someone articulate his point/the republican viewpoint a little better for me? i mean i think i understand it but just don't believe that anyone would actually believe that having less government and some wildly ignorant president as a symbol of this being a good thing.
i probably sound reaaally annoying to somebody actually knowledgeable of the matter right now, but i'm not like trying to make myself heard and am just asking questions because i'm honestly 100% ignorant on what the republican as well as democratic "platforms" are aside from taking sides on stupid issues like the right to be able to use incandescent lightbulbs rather than florescent which use less energy
do you republicans (karak?) actually believe that the government should have less of a role in governing and we should just leave it up to chance that **** works out?
oh yeah and **** OBAMA OBV HE BLEWWWWWW IT ALLLLLLLL HE RUINEEEED ITTTT
/raaaant /thanks
