... on the other hand, maybe he's grinding nosebleeds while watching sc2 at the same time, I do it at micros wouldn't be surprised if a sicko like Lex does it high stakes

Substitute y for x in your equation then solve for y =. For example, f(x) = 2x. y=2x. Inverse f^-1 is x=2y. y =x/2.

For the other, use log or ln to undo the exponent. Then use properties of logs.

Different questions. The SMP one really really helped me out. It translates really easily into code. The one in this thread was for the standard normal distribution, but translating that into code looks a little daunting. The hint given with the question was "sin-cos technique" but I'm unfamiliar with that, because **** trig. I'm supposed to be creating a program that will generate various distributions. The programming is fairly straight forward, but this math **** is a big bucket of what the ****.
