Any of you guys think the new maps are too big? It's just been on my mind a lot lately as I've been watching a lot of SC2.

Most of the time when I'm watching these tournaments it's just like, "****, this is going to be a long game." Do I really want to sit here and watch a game last 40mins? To me, that's boring. "This map is huge, I think I'll expand as soon as the game starts..."

I liked maps like Steppes where you had to think about being pressured early. It just doesn't seem like there is enough smaller maps where it adds a different dynamic to the game.

I don't know. It's probably just my opinion. I think it's ruining my viewing experience as the longer games are boring to me.

there are a lot of small and medium maps and some really large maps. there's a nice mix and it requires all different styles of play as a result.

I guess maybe I don't realize how small(er) the maps are, but it just seems like all of the competitive matches are going 30-40 minutes long after expanding early because they know how big the maps are.

I mean, when someone is able to get 4-5 expo's, then you know the map is too big, IMO.

a+ way to end my evening is bitbybit.priming nubs w/ jackitos while i sing ke$ha over skype. only better way would be holding hands with natalie portman.
Karak was like, **** it, can you play terran? I'm like, I can play the basics, but slow and not good. He said just make marines bro, no upgrades, just make 4 rax and marines, rally them to ball. So, I gave him control so he could micro the giant deathball of 0/0 marines with no stim.

I think every match, I created double the units of anyone in the games, I was always over 150. Everyone else was around 60-70. Was a fun time. I like playing sim city. I think if I do this enough, I could prolly get a decent opener with 3rax or something.

I don't think the maps are too big.

On a map like steppes any ****** can 2rax marines, then send them+scvs at an arbitrary time and have a decent shot at winning. I feel like on a larger map, where games tend to run longer, the more skillful player will have a greater chance to win.

I also think that larger maps spawn exciting games as well, with multibase harass, multiple 200/200 engagements, hidden expos, full tech tree usage. Although I admit, everyone probably has a slightly different definition of what an exciting game is.

Nobody wants to see Jackitos play a 40 minute long match. Just sayin!

Theres good big maps and less good big maps IMO. Shakuras is the like the perfect big map in my mind but I dislike terminus RE. I have no reason other than a gut feeling when I watch/play it.

Gonna ask in here cuz I can!!!!

When a zerg has a bunch of creep tumors down and you kill off a creep tumor, does the zerg player still have vision over the creep until it goes away or do you (the zerg player) lose vision immediately (in the area that the tumor is powering)?

Only the creep tumors give vision, so if you pop the tumor he loses vision the same way any unit dies in that location.

Don't want to put in an effort to actually ask a girl out face-to-face, but you sure do want to put in that extra effort to troll this forum.

I have an idea. Stop being a clown. Seriously.
