Meh, I don't really like this guy's style, I admire his speed and technique but he seems to be wasting boost a lot and just can't ****ing stay in one place for more than fraction of a second. Wp guys, pity some small mistakes took away that win.

I liked the save in 1st game 1:10 by weev, shame you guys got owned at 0:53. And I liked how in the 2nd game at 2:20 goofy misses and gives 'what a save!'

Now that I finally hit d2 and I think I could definitely get easily d3 if I didn't random queue I wish I were on US servers and able to play with you more, sigh.

Well now that we are kind of piling on, I watched both games and really was never very impressed. I was like "Wow, do people not play singles anymore if this guy is #1?". I also like how more than once he was clearly going for a shot and would miss and then say "faking".

Just didnt want to say anything before cuz I didnt want to come off as a "her elbows are too pointy", keyboard jokey. But yeah, meh to what was on display.

I think I read somewhere that 1v1 are not so hot anymore, I think it was commentary to the second tournament of the titans.

It's pretty routinely said that 1v1 skill isn't that transferable to other game types. Rotational play and passing at higher levels are things you don't practice in 1s, and the type of control play that you need in 1s is rarely useful in 3s, though more frequently in 2s. Dappur is largely recognized as the top 1v1 player and he's amazing at controlling the ball and not giving opponents much opportunity to score, but IMO he's one of the worst pros at 3v3 and he even lacks a lot of fairly basic technical skills you see other pros use. I think this guy was just putzing around, he was playing on an alt account with a donor and chatting the whole time and clearly not playing optimally thinking he could get away with it which he could.

found on reddit in dataisbeautiful, interesting, makes me happy about my d3 performance last season, about 200 hours ahead of the average. But again, champion previously totally out of reach seems reachable with just more practice. However weev told me horror stories about d3 and that it's a rank that people get stuck forever on.

Yeah Im in diamond 3 right now and feel like Im far off from being in champ, aerials arent good enough and I dont get up fast enough. Been diamond 3 for prolly 2 months now.
