You guys didn't mention how big this update appears to be:
- Steam Workshop for making custom arenas
- custom training scenarios (basically taking the Rocket League Trainer stuff and putting it in the game)

Obviously amazing update. I love the new Starbase ARC arena, it's a different gameplay but should be more likeable than neo tokyo (which I don't mind as much anymore fwiw).

Couldn't stand the ARC when I played it - don't like the octagon shape (and I've tried the octagon a bunch on rocket labs), plus it feels so much smaller than the standard field.

I liked Neo Tokyo when it first dropped, have grown to like it less and less.

Smaller? But it's huge?

New map is big but plays small.

Just realised i can 'plus' or 'minus' certain map types and theoretically not have to play them... Bubye tokyo!

It feels smaller because the corners have no depth due to the octagon shape vs the standard oval/rectangle type. It might be wider and longer but you're losing all the corner area.

Also hate Tokyo but feel a little guilty downvoting it so just leaving it for now

I love Tokyo, sad that I'll probably play it less with so many people downvoting it

+1.

Like markbris though, I downvoted an arena (underwater) and still got put into it in my next game.

I probably won't vote unless there is an arena that I think is truly unfair rather than just disagreeable.

Unrelated question: is there any DLC for this game that's important?

To those feeling weird after the update on PC: https://www.reddit.com/r/RocketLeagu..._after_update/

Also me and couple friends went to Amsterdam for the RLCS, it was a blast. Event was run very well and the grand finals had great atmosphere in the crowd

That's an old video and apparently it only resets it if you've changed it in the past. That said I am gonna try it out and see if the game feels a little better for me, I think I've just had more lag than before; even a slightly elevated ping is noticeable.

nope, it's truly cosmetical.

However dominus, batmobile and masamune are considered 'good' by many. I might buy them eventually just as with keys, to show support after every 100 hours ingame or so. For now Octane ftw.

All of it is extremely important as buying it supports the makers of one of the best games of the decade.

Great points, if I keep playing at my current rate I'll gladly throw some $$$ their way. Also changed the control setting and it feels way better imo.

I'm sure it'll end up as useful as the report feature has been. </s>

The deadzone settings are now found in the menus and can't be altered through the game files as before. I was playing like absolute trash before I realized this.
