Damn that's sick Marek. I've been wavering around the low gold 2's pretty much for the past few months and have no ****ing clue how to get better lol. I feel like I'm pretty decent with aerials, but I guess I do still miss a lot of shots that I shouldn't, which keeps my winrate down.

Just practice imo, I'm at 315 hours and have been shooting star for a few weeks now, even if it's just 30 mins a day I think it keeps me in shape and I occasionally arrange a game with a teammate (usually decent guys met in randoms) twice a week for an hour or more if things going well.

I have RocketLeagueTrainer installed but didn't want to play with it too much, I just love playing the games and improving that way, even if it's less optimal.

And doubles ftw. But I assume playing duels is great for your skill if it doesn't burn you out. And I hit up sometimes freeplay if I think of a cool thing I would like to improve on.

Marek sick accomplishment imo, 1000 hours doesn't seem like that much for that level.

Yeah, you just gotta play to get better, putting in time is really most of it, though theres certainly more effective ways (like working on your mechanics, playing some 1s to work on your speed, car and ball control etc.). But yeah, the cool thing about 2s is you will get to practice everything important during games

I don't know what that means but looks awesome! I was away from the game for like two weeks and now feel like a complete beginner again (not that I was good in the first place), I could probably put in 10000 hours and not make it that high.

How many matches does that equate to, I don't think XBox keeps track of time. I'm at 1715 games played and am still just a Challenger II at singles

Who are these scrubs? Where's Kronovi and Lachinio and all them?

Kronovis team didnt' even make it to this - they came 7th or something in North America and only the top 4 from each continent qualifies.

As for these scrubs, flipsid3 is probably the best team in the world atm.

Yeah, after a really close game 1 this is kinda looking like a drubbing.

That was actually pretty fun to watch. Flipside pretty much dominated from start to finish though so it didn't quite live up to the last RLCS.

Was a brutal humilation for NA. All four NA teams lost their first match and entered the losers bracket immediately, and then Flipsid3 came into the losers bracket and fought their way through to win. Europe went 6-1 vs NA, with the last NA team getting swept easily by Flipsid3.

Utterly humiliating. Sorry for wasting your time with our games

Not sure it's related but have had more people quit ranked matches and more lag than ever since update.

To take it a step further, it feels like I'm slightly "off" the whole match, like a split second behind or an inch off. I went from a mediocre, or probably even a bad, player who can at least contribute to the team to basically unconscionably bad overnight. Just had one where it looked like a save on my screen (I was going straight at it) but somehow I managed to barrel roll past it for an easy goal. Guess it could be a Mac thing, no idea really

Interesting, I played yesterday (first time since the update - not sure exactly when the update came out) and it felt smoother than it's ever been for me.

Not a clue why but usually my first game is kinda laggy, and then every game after that is fine, but yesterday everything felt good.

ETA: PS4 fwiw
