yeah but both teams can hear, you only see your own name when you talk you cant see whos talking, kinda annoying.

Watching Gibbs and Kronovi play in a competitive game is legit exciting. Just needs more stakes.

wrt voice communication, it occurred to me that
- Kronovi uses the built-in PS4 streaming stuff to stream, so what we see/hear should all be via PS4
- He's always in voice chat with the guys he's playing with and we never hear anyone else

Does the PS4 have party-only chat like the 360 had? That would make sense for what we hear on his stream, and would be a good way to play with 2+2 teammates.

it does - up on dashboard to top row and I think 3rd/4th from the left, middleish. looks like a headset.

You shouldn't need to buy a headset (though it is probably a good idea) - the PS4 comes with a single earbud one, and any iphone/android earbuds will work if connected to the controller.

This game is too good to be free.

OMG.. just lost a 2v2 where my teammate bailed after sucking it up to go down 0-2, I managed to end the game down 5-6 1v2 and still lost 70 points, was at 540 now at like 470. They really need to fix the leaderboard system before the season starts.

Also it's lol how a bad teammate can screw you over, game became so much easier once he bounced.

on the pc, you can go into audio options and choose whether or not voice chat is all-chat or team-chat. dunno if it is like that on the ps4.

but really, you should stay in all-chat. there's no real strat, everyone is either trying to clear or center/score. it's much more fun chatting with the other team.

we just played a game where we lost the first two, talked **** then the other tema spots us 4 goals and we win. then we try to score own goals to even the match and then it turns into who can score the most own goals/send the game to overtime.

Ok, yeah, PS4 has that option too. Good call, although it's not clear if that means you only hear teammates or only teammates hear you. I just found my headset that I didn't know I had and plugged it in and haven't heard anyone talk yet, so I guess PS4 is just a ghost town.

PS4 must be all chat, just heard my first person talking and he was on the other team. Was able to avoid getting scored on while digging in the menus for the mute options, there should be trophy for that.

Also, I totally fist pump scored after one of those super long 1v1 starts with the ball popping straight up into the ceiling, except I'd gotten turned around and scored on myself :0

Downloaded this game off of Steam tonight. PC isn't good enough and I had extremely choppy frame rates. I guess I gotta get a new PC or just buy a PS4 if I wanna play this, but looks super fun.

Saw you and disco and catfan on for a long time last night but you had four the whole time so I never bothered joining.
