I will be getting it, not sure from which place yet. Since I work for a walmart i get 10% but other places offer gear or guns with a preorder.

Rather detailed notes from a play through of the demo, so it won't be 100% accurate to the final version. For example: "Cannot swim. Water kills Marston." Pretty sure that was just the demo, to keep play confined to a specific area of the gameworld.

After playing Just Cause 2, 28 square miles is going to seem tiny compared to the ~400 in that game, especially considering the west is in reality huge. I guess you can't really have that huge of a world considering the fastest mode of transportation is a horse, but still.

GTA:SA really persuaded me that bigger is not necessarily better.

Density of content >>>> size of map AINEC.

Thanks for the link, really informative.

Really cannot wait now. Sadly it comes out a week before my last exam, so I will have to wait a little longer otherwise it's a guaranteed fail.

I like the fact you can keep horses in stables, then you can have your super fast steed, your reliable but ultimately sh** mule and probably the one you start with.

Also, I hope they add some interesting cheats. Not to complete the game, but to mess about with afterwards - maybe cars, helicopters etc. would be really good. Or if they don't even want to have that sort of tech as cheats, maybe just a huge eagle or something you can fly around on. I wish I was a game designer.

I know what you mean, but really I don't have an interest in the actual coding side of it so I'd just be the 'idea man' and maybe write game scripts All the fun and none of the hard work I guess.

Have you played the Las Vegas and NASA levels? There is a Titanic level too that is awesome, but kind of annoying at the end.

I wonder how long it takes to make one of them.

Let's party up?

Actually it looks like "cannot swim" is one of Marston's "features" in the full game too. From the official site:

Quote:
"Hey R* I still need to know, will we be able to swim in RDR?" - captaincabbage

As an outlaw character who's spent most of his life on horseback in the land-locked territories of the West - John Marston is not much of a swimmer. If he has to cross a body of water, transport will be provided. John has no problem wading, but if he gets too deep, he will drown.
