I'm getting it through Amazon but I only plan to use the golden guns online to combat the others with them.. In single player I'd rather earn them with headshots

After the disappointment of Alan Wake with all it's hype maybe this can live upto it? TBH I quite liked GUN so I can't imagine how this can crush my expectations.

my local video store put Saints Row 2 out like two weeks early lol i rented it, kept it for 10 days or so. i went in there a few days after i rented, they pulled it off the shelves lol

Once it gets close to release you can't select release date anymore, but you can still preorder it and get the bonuses.

I stopped by a friend's place this afternoon to check it out. The whole environment is awesome, imo. It's extremely immersive. The lighting is fantastic and the attention to detail for a game this big is pretty incredible. It's beautiful. I love the soundtrack. I didn't do any missions because I didn't want to spoil anything but I messed around with it for an hour or two. I rode around the countryside and did some hunting. I played poker and watched a silent film. I looked around Armadillo and shot some randoms while flying through town on horseback, stuff like that.

After my short time with it, it appears to be everything the reviews have made it out to be. This one is going to be very hard to put down. gg poker
