I'm probably going to buy a console just to play this, the spiderman game and god of war. which one should I go for? ps4 or the xbox? is there a clear better one as of right now?

If you want to play Spiderman and God of War then you can only do that on PS4 but if you want the absolute best Red Dead experience then it will be on the Xbox One X.

As for which console is better overall, PS4 has way more games/exclusives and it's not even close. Xbox One X is an amazing console but it just doesn't have much software.

Considering the Xbox One X just for this game, and it feels dirty. Don't own any current gen consoles right now.

If you're a hardcore completionist, you can do a scavenger hunt in GTAOnline that will get you a revolver in RDR2. Its a multi-step process, especially if you don't have GTA5 still installed (I didn't). It was fun'ish....

It's definitely an insane size, but also has been the norm for awhile. I remember balking at Mortal Kombat X's ~80GB back in 2015.

On my tv, some of the HUD icons are cut in half in the corners of my screen - so conversation options, ammo count, notifications, etc.. My PS4 display settings are set to fit my screen...anyone have any ideas wtf I'm missing?

Anyone playing on a PS4 Pro?

I picked up the Red Dead Pro Console bundle but haven't had a chance to open it yet. In the meantime I'm reading about the problems the Pro is having rendering the graphics. The guys at Digital Foundry ran comparisons and they were surprised at how much better the Xbox X ran the game vs. the Pro. The side by sides are pretty damning.

So here are my options (and I don't 100% like either of them):

BTW, I'm playing on a 55" 4K Vizio P-Series

1) Return the Pro and pick up the X. The issue here is that I would have to play the exclusives on my regular PS4. I haven't gamed at all in the past 8 months so I've been sitting on Gods of War and Horizon, waiting to play them in their 4K glory. Last of Us 2 is coming up as well.

2) Just suck it up, sell my regular PS4 and keep the Pro. Maybe I won't even notice the difference with Red Dead. Still get to play all the exclusives in 4K.

I don't really know if there is a right or wrong answer. I'm not even sure which way I'm leaning but I need to make a decision so I can start to play tomorrow. Any opinions?

Not surprising considering the X has like 40% more graphics power. Go with option 1. It's better to buy a system that you're actually going to play.
