Red Dead Redemption 2 (it's out!) - Video Games

Red Dead Redemption 2 will release worldwide in Fall 2017 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems.

I'm so ridiculously excited for this. I haven't been looking forward to a game this much since GTA 5.

RDR was better than most GTA games IMO. All the best stuff with none of the filler, plus the old west is a much cooler setting than a city for the umptenth time.

On topic tho, never played red dead one, but I've only ever heard good things about it. I would expect this trailer, if it shows gameplay to look amazing.

Even you misogynists should still selfishly want a woman playable character in a Rockstar open world game. Their stories are awful and stale; a woman as a main character at least forces them to be original in some ways.

When game developers are questioned about why they don't make female playable characters, they say things like "women are too hard to animate" or "we wanted to tell a story about masculinity" (lol) or "games starring women don't sell", choose whatever you want or make up your own.

Saw a comment where the person was like "I hope you have the option to play as morally good", and someone responded "The biggest problem I have with Rockstar games like GTA is that I'm virtually required to be amoral even at a character's best". Lol.

Then another person talks about the "masterful interplay of GTA 5" and how it has "some of the richest tongue-in-cheek storytelling on the market."

This is what you get when your hobby is mostly enjoyed by 13 year old boys or people with about that level of sophistication. There is no hope for AAA games.
