My criticism of the the game (and thus the correct one).

Is not about the pace, the controls or the wanted mechanics.

Its that the survival element is pretty much completely redundant.

I have so many items that restore cores/fortify etc that I can use and know more will be incoming that there is almost no feedback or pressure from the cores/survival system.

I would like to see DLC/mode that really upped the survival pressure, made you much more vulnerable, made items/tonics/food etc less powerful, more scarce, maybe started you out in **** clothes and a **** gun, with a massive bounty. I would enjoy that personally.

Surprised by that, RDR2 has really breakthrough attention in the UK, there was even a segment about its launch on the BBC evening news, never seen that for a video game before.

survival aspects sound good, but then when they are implemented realistically its just ****ing annoying. I don't want spend my time constantly hunting around for food and water or clothing, and nothing sucks worse than losing a decked out character because you got sick and cant find any ****ing antibiotics or because the game suddenly decides to doomswitch you on food spawns.

Survival modes are fine but they have to be a separate choice so the people like me who loathe them aren't forced into doing too much nitty nonsense.

Reminds me of the mode in Fallout New Vegas

Well it would be a mode, also detached from story.

I understand if you dont like survival aspects, but plenty of people do, several well selling games are based on such.

The thing with the game as it is, those aspects are in there, but implemented in such a way that makes them almost utterly irrelevant.

I for one would not like to see them go full rumbosto on the survival aspect in story mode, for reasons you describe, but personally would like survival pressure ramped up someway from basically totally absent. Its not binary, and at the moment I dont see the point of having those systems in there if the game makes is such a doddle to overcome them. Just make them intrude enough to make them relevant, but not overpowering.

However if there was a DLC that allowed for a very hard core free roam survival mode I would drop money on that.

I think the game you’re looking for is Oregon Trail.

But I agree the survival elements are useless. I go to the snow and the game tells me my guy isn’t dressed for it and is cold. I ignore it and nothing changes. I still function the same and come out of it alive. They could at least make you run slower and aim poorer or something.

Getting help in the bath is one of the weirdest elements in the game.

It's not skillful to actually do the shooting, but there's certainly skill in taking on multiple dudes wanting to kill you since you die pretty fast.

Hoping GTA 6 will be a return to the 80s theme. Golden opportunity for the title too, GTA VIce.

I'm glad they made it interactive so you can have her keep cleaning your arm for as long as it takes to get off.

I heard there's a deal in this game where you can kill KKK members without penalty. Makes me want to get it when it's released for PC

Ummm you Might wanna avoid tonight's South Park episode if you want to avoid minor spoilers. On the other hand, it might be my favorite episode of the entire series.

I've rescued three kidnapped women from horseback and all three start to thank me, flip out, then run away screaming. I'm just gonna start collecting them and putting them in a cabin somewhere.

The number of people I have rescued, accidentally pointed my gun at after s gunfight with the people who were hurting them, and them running away screaming without giving me anything is too high to count on two hands

Most times I just take them down and loot their corpses if they run off after I rescue them

poker is so rigged in this game when playing HU, guys never fold. I 3bet a guy with 54 and the flop came 544, I lead and he raised. He lead out on the Q turn, I called and then I shoved over his river bet J and he had J4.

Another time I made a huge 4bet with QQ after the BB squeezed, he called for 1/4 of his stack. I then bet the flop and shoved the turn on a T6625 and he had 63 suited.

I also got my turn shove for 50bbs called while 110bbs deep by 73 when I had 34s flush draw on a 25JK board.

The way to win seems to be to just shove with strong Ace hands preflop and hopefully dominate them

haha, Ive had the exact opposite. I got it all in with 44 on x64 board, he had K6. Turn K and I just ****ing know of course the river is a K or 6 because obviously this **** is rigged. Nope total blank.

KK vs QQ AIPIF, ****er of course flops a Q. I turn a K.

I had another one where I sucked out with runner runner flush against someones way better hand on the flop.

I think the run outs are fairly standard, but their actions on the different streets are as if they know your cards
