Don't have one myself, but probably will when my current one breaks. Highly regarded by most, I believe.

Rocket league is amazing. My friends and I had a team during the beta. He crushed i kinda just piggybacked but we were pretty good. I'm down for a 2+2 team. Can do 2v2 -5v5

I have that headset and it works great.

Haven't had any issues with the PS Gold headset.

Bought the PS Gold headset. Thanks fellas. For some reason I wasn't seeing that one when I did a quick search. Duh.

Ps gold headset is awesome but be gentle with it. Mine had cracks on the two little hinges on inside of the main hinge and one side of my cans broke (just taped it for the time being, but the other sides hinges are cracked too)

I like my gold headset...pretty solid for sure. My only gripe is the charge hold time which I think was around 5 hours. I know, I should take a break after that long lol.

I finally broke down and bought a ps4 in order to play the only real game that I've wanted for like 6 years now, MLB the Show.

I gotta say, I love this system. It is super intuitive, easy to use, and a breeze to switch between things I want to do. Also got TLOU, as it's another exclusive I've wanted to play and will probably get Little Big Planet for some multiplayer fun with the fam.

Sony has made a fan of me.

Anyone ever had their remote just stop working? Tonight after I get all set up for Iron Banner, I plug in a mic and my remote stops working. Won't move around on screen or anything. I reset the PS4, and the remote won't do jack, won't light in the back or anything.

I've tried hitting the reset button on the back, different wires to charge it, hard resetting the PS4 etc. And the remote remains unresponsive. Never had an issue before tonight. Likely it just crapped out or is there a trick I'm missing?

Of course its the only remote I have.

I had some weirdness once with my controller in Destiny, where it completely locked up - it was resolved though by pulling power to the PS4 and rebooting from cold. Also hit the tiny reset on the controller but didn't help until full power cycle.

I think when it happened the lightbar remained lit though. And certainly the mic remained working, I could still speak to my team (was in the middle of a Trials match!). Just couldn't move or navigate the PS4 at all.

I think if your lightbar isn't coming on controller may well be dead.

Does anyone have an idea of the latest i can safely resub to PS+ and get July's games for free?

Gonna guess Mon Aug 3rd, Sunday 2nd to be safe. PS+ Inventory updates on the first Tuesday of the month (random time of day).

Thanks. Usually it wouldn't matter but if plus members get some bonus days this cycle then it would be good for 13 months of games if timed properly

That seems like an excessive amount of work to get effectively less than $5 worth of stuff.

picking which day to resub to PSPlus isn't really any work at all, i dont wanna have it set to auto renew cuz i hear horror stories about Sony's customer service with refunds and stuff. but yeah the savings is pretty much none

And yeah, I never will trust PSN store with my CC number, there's just no need when it's so super-easy just to buy codes off Amazon or use Paypal on there. Not that I particularly don't trust PSN, more that my account could be compromised and if so I'd rather the bastards couldn't rack up a ton of charges on ultimate team or whatever the current scam is.

I thought X-2 was pretty fun, but then again I never bothered finishing it (I think I ran into some boss that I just deemed impossible to beat or something, but you would think if I liked the game enough I would have powered through). But I remember liking its battle format more, and that's saying somethings since I really enjoyed combat in FFX.

I'm playing through FFX again now, first time since the game was new on the PS2. Still holds up beautifully from a game play perspective (and obviously the visual is excellent).

Definitely planning to give X-2 another shot once I finish FFX.

I just finished X-2 last weekend. It was pretty bad at some parts but i enjoyed the latter half a lot. I didn't even touch the fiend arena stuff. I think FFX-2 has an even bigger end-game than FFX of stuff to do. I got the all the trophies and will probably do FFX-2 "Last Mission" here in a week or so for the remaining trophies for the platinum. At some point I think I will return to FFX-2 and try to finish the fiend storylines and unlock the "secret" characters. Via the fiend arena you can actually fight with fiends (and other human characters) instead of the 3 main characters in the game. Like, if you wanted to play through the game with a Chocobo, a Cactuar, and a Tonberry and leave the 3 main girls at level 1-3, you could do so.

Oh and i did manage to get 100% completion. The bonus scene you get it like 1 minute long and really doesn't add anything to the overall story from the main post-credits ending. But I did hear you can load your 100% save into FFX-2 Last Mission to add some extra content there...

Yeah, game is about as fun as fun can be.

I am so bad at rocket league. I haven't figured out the timing yet.
