They announced that the first TLOU was really overrated, sorry for treating it like a classic these last 4 years.

Meh, the only "overrated" thing said about it was that someone said it was "...the Citizen Kane" of gaming, which was a goofy thing to say. The single player was great, but it was the multiplayer that made it my personal GOAT. Had the metas not become what they did, I'd still be playing it to this day.

It's not going to release this year. They're trying for a Q1 release next year.

My personal guess is it's a Fall 2019 crossgen / launch game for PS5... Releasing in the God of War slot next year would make sense though.

I'm still torn on the no jumping aspect as platforming/jumping in general was a pretty good part of the earlier games. Also, it sounds like they change it so that it isn't you vs many enemies, but more you vs 1-2 enemies at once. I'm sure it will still be fun, just TBD on how it plays out with this big change. I've been a huge fan of the series, so looking forward either way. Now if they could just make another Dead Space

Oh man the first Dead Space was amazing; second one didn’t add much Imo but I still want to play 3 and would play a new one if it came out.

I loved the first 2, especially the intensity at the end of the 2nd one (without giving anything away). I do agree though that there wasn't as much new with it. The third one isn't as good imo, but it is still fun.

There will be in-game footage at E3 this year for TLOU2, but even Q1 next year seems early. I’m guessing PSX IN December will have a date, then it will get pushed a few months after that.

Posted about Warframe in the random thread but since I play on PS4 I’ll mention it here too. Definitely give it a try if you like shooters/loot-grinding games, started it earlier this week and am currently obsessed. It’s a long, deep grind as far as i can tell but man is it a joy to play. My PS handle is same as here if anyone wants to team up.

Welp this was a torrid romance but already kinda over it and back on the scene looking for something to play (preferably) in my backlog. Tried to restart Dishonored and spent 30 minutes stuck at the same spot I was when I left off so immediately ejected it and started my free with PS+ Mad Max. Seems ok so far, definitely a let down from HZD but I do like those 3rd person melee combat games (Batman, Shadow of Mordor) and I loved Fury Road so we’ll see how it goes.

I put a few sessions in to Mad Max before GoW, it's decent enough and I'll return to it. I think Shadow of Mordor is the better of the two as far as combat goes, for now. The driving makes it quite different. I was a bit daunted by the sheer volume of "map items" that appeared in Mad Max once it opened up, but many of them are super-trivial so it's not as tedious to clear as it may seem. SoM became rubbish fairly quick due to becoming totally OP, however - yet to see if Max suffers the same fate.

It's a game I'm super happy was on PS+ tho.

And yeah it looks almost like a last gen game lol, coming from Horizon Zero Dawn and now God of War! At the time it was praised for graphics! If you get caught outside in a storm though, wow that is still super impressive. It doesn't have a Pro patch either which is a pity.

Did anyone mention the latest Capcom Humble Bundle? $15 tier gets you Valkyria Chronicles Remastered, Dead Rising 2, a few Resident Evil games, Alien Isolation, and some PS3/Vita games. I was on the fence about it but charity plus VCR was good enough for a purchase even if I might not play anything else. I think Alien is a free game in the next few months, just a hunch.

Xcom2 and Trials Fusion is a great lineup for June PS Plus games.

Excellent. I put so so many hours in to Trial Fusion, it's superb.

I've done the same with xcom 2 on the PC. Have always wanted to play from the couch but couldn't justify buying it for my ps4 too. So this is a pleasant surprise
