Anyone buy Transistor? Was looking at that and Child of Light (saw one post about it itt) for games the wife and I could play together. Think we're gonna grab Rayman Legends as well. Nearly done with my first play through of Second Son on normal difficulty, it's a really fun game.

Octodad co-op is pretty humorous at first, but gets kid of repetitive.

If she likes shooting zombies, then dead nation apocalypse is a lot of fun co-op.

Child of Light is a very pretty game, although there is not a lot for player 2 to do.

You can race motocross with up the three other players on one system in Trials Fusion.

I think all of these have free demos you can download and try before you buy.

So I finally got into the PS4 Playstation Now Beta, and holy crap is the selection terrible. Virtually nothing I am interested in playing over Watch Dogs or The Show.

I really hope the Beta titles are just there to test the servers and not indicative of the actual titles that will be available.

They were a little better last month (or whenever they updated) but yeah. You'd think they would want to incentivize people to test out the system lol

I've seen a couple of mentions that the load times are bad. Is that true?

I just use wifi (they say not to but whatev) and everything has been fine for me on ps3 and 4

Good things to follow are the threads on Neogaf - NPD sales results for the USA, and PAL Charts Week # for he UK. They are incomplete, but hey incomplete information is our thing PAL come out every Monday, NPD the second Thursday of each month end of day EST I think (delayed until Monday this week because of E3 week)

There are useful nuggets in all of them though. For example last week, launch week for Watch_Dogs, it easily hit #1 in the UK PAL charts, overall and all formats. They posted the breakdown, 49% PS4, 27% XB1. PS3/360/PC making up the rest. Digital sales not included.

I can't remember exactly what, but I'm tempted to say Lego games - Some franchise XB1 regularly outperforms PS4 in the NPD monthly sales results. They generally only give an order of popularity in those, although sometimes people can extrapolate gives a few known numbers.

Battlefield Hardline is really just Battlefield 4.5, but I do really like the Blood Money game mode. Objective based and you can play several different roles:

Standard Mule: Got to money pile, grab some and return to your vault.

Raider: Go to the other team's vault, grab cash and return

Defender/Camper: Camp either your own vault, the money pile, or the other team's vault and take out raiders/mules.

Best new BF game mode in a while.

Vehicles are a lot of fun and drive really smooth. Love the police interceptor.

Bloodborne gameplay looks amazing. I'm thinking that 100% blocking isn't going to exist in the game. But I have faith that enough of the important elements are going to be similar to the Souls series.

I bought a ps4 a few days ago. The only consoles I've had before were the wii and the nes lol. Used to play mainly on pc. I got infamous second sons with the console which apparently is excellent though haven't tried yet and need for speed. Am managing to enjoy it despite being rubbish!

What other games are coming out or out I should get? Heard last of us is great but does take the piss that it's releasing as full price.

Watch Dogs is pretty awesome. Well worth paying full price for.

If you like sports games, MLB the Show 14 is one of the best baseball games out there.

Enjoyed watchdogs for one day. Keep trying it since but get bored very quickly which is annoying as I expected so much for it.

Downloaded Outlast from ps store and love it so far. Been playing at night in the pitch dark with headphones on for total scare factor.

Looking forward to the new golf game from EA Sports but that's prob not gonna be out until 2015.

Watch Dogs is pretty repetitive as are most open world games, but I feel like there is enough to do to keep it fresh. Plus the online aspect of the game is pretty fun too.

Did anyone get to play the Destiny alpha? I'm curious how similar it will be to Halo, as I was a big fan of the first 2 games.

When I got back from holiday my key didn't work so never got to try it. I've watched a couple of youtube walkthroughs of the demo though and it looks very promising.
