never played battlefield but reviews look good. Kinda tired on COD to begin with. Anyone getting BF4 for ps4?

Haven't Preordered anything yet.

Gonna wait til people play them. Then buy whatever is the best game for ps4 on release.
I will have the cod upgrades and fifa to play immediately. But from what I have seen BF is looking pretty good.

I'm def getting fifa upgrade for launch. I could get anywhere form 1-3 other games. Target buy 2 get 1 free kinda changed my outlook.

NBA2k14
Killzone
BF4
COD (looking doubtful now)
Knack (doubtful)

In all honesty I'd be good with fifa and a shooter for a while. But like I said the target deal makes me want to pick up 2k as well. Guess ill wait to see reviews which are usually a terrible barometer but such is life.

PC version is apparently one of the worst ports of all time. People are saying it's almost RE4 bad. The game just seems bad overall if you're not on 360.

Found this Wired article on the PS4 to be interesting.

Cliffs:

-He is an American software guy and not a hardware guy
-Guy behind Crash Bandicoot and Knack
-Went to like 30 software companies for input and advice (share button was created from this)
-fixed a lot of the things that held back the ps4 by looking at things from software side

Prolly old news to some but I thought it was interesting. Bunch of stuff in there made me pretty happy to have chosen a ps4.

Think you are overrating prior playstation launches tbh.

PS3 was a dumpster fire. PS1 looks pretty bad at quick look. PS2 looks like it had a decent sized launch.

Beat on my PC. It's not worth a PS4 to play that game if you already have a good PC. Besides, all PC games are "free".

With launch a week away, maybe we could start a list of people getting PS4 and what their PSN ID is? Maybe add games you are getting at launch. Quote and add to below if that works. I know personally I did most of my last gen online gaming on 360 so I have a pretty lonely friends list on PSN.

amazon sent me an email with a ps4 buy 1 get one offer, pretty sick. I think it's for people who pre ordered a ps4 game on amazon. Bunch of people on reddit got it as well.

Might be worth sending them an email complaining if you didn't get the offer and are a customer there.

I ordered NBA2k and Killzone to go along with the FIFA I already ordered.

Ughhh drove pretty far to a Gamestop (recommended by experienceplaystation.com) to try out the PS4. They had a kiosk, but aren't allowed to turn it on until the night before release. Same goes for the other stores. Super lame.
