I know that they're a real thing but the marketing hyperbole acts like they have been holding back developers and preventing them from unleashing their true creative potential. They're a technical annoyance that people will forget about once they're gone.

What will happen though is that most games will be multiplatform and they will develop for the lowest common denominator specs: The PS5's cpu/gpu and the XBX's SSD. And the games will look great and play great on both systems. I'm sure some console exclusives will get a little extra out of the strength's of each one as well.

But saying that a fast SSD on the PS5 or ray tracing on the Xbox is going to revolutionize games is marketing hyperbole so you'll spend $500 or whatever on their new box.

The last one I played was San Andreas...I didn't like that one as much as Vice City and the previous ones, though.

Does anyone else remember Black? It was one of the first games with an interactive environment - so if you randomly shot at a building window, it would break. It was such an addictive game, with hard missions.

Yeah, I remember Black. Trying to think of some bullet storm shoot'em up games you may enjoy.

The new Doom just came out also. I also didn't enjoy San Andreas as much as Vice City etc.

I want to kill some Nazis, or something, so give me some advice.
I suggest getting PS5 when its out this year and if you haven't purchased PS4. They added a feature in PS5 that allows it to play all games from PS1 To PS5( which i hoped they added in PS4 but they didn't which makes me(PS4 user) save money to buy PS5 when its released).

Based on everything happening I think its highly unlikely we get either new console in time for holiday 2020

You can pretty much expect all major releases, including the PS5 and XBTWO to be delayed this year.

I'm farming the end boss in Nioh 2 and whoever has control of the skip cinematics button is holding us hostage making us watch through the credits.

Easily the worst mechanic of any game.

Uncharted 4 and God of War as a start. Then you can backtrack and play the other 3 uncharted games, God of wars 1 to 3.

okay, now i'm really going to buy a PS4 now...but all I want is to play games by myself, like GTA and maybe a car racing game....is Madden a good game by yourself?

I'm just going to a Slim 1TB console with a controller, and then start with COD or something similar...

If you want single player FPS Nazi killing, get Wolfenstein New Order, Wolfenstein Old Blood, and Wolfenstein II, The New Colossus.

Call of Duty WWII is free with ps plus right now, btw.

God of War and Red Dead 2 are must haves. Especially for someone who wants to play a solo game and loves great stories. These have some of the best stories in gaming history.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake is pretty fun.

I've never played an uncharted game before, but Uncharted 4 was last months freebie and I ended up really enjoying it.

The Nathan Drake Collection (Uncharted 1-3) was also part of that freebie. I've played a little bit of them, and really enjoyed the time I spent.

Currently my gaming log is:

Assassain's Creed: Odyssey
Final Fantasy VII Remake
The Last of Use Remastered
Horizon: Zero Dawn
Uncharted Games

But I actually spend most of my time playing Clash of Clans and Hearthstone. :-/

I’d add Days Gone to that list as well. Way better then it was given credit for.

While it's been a long time, I remember feeling like Uncharted 1 was alright but skippable, and the sequels were a bit better.
