I picked it up this morning and already love it. "Wasted" most of my day playing and didn't even stop to eat. What a great upgrade from PS3. I'm so slow to move on that I'm probably good to go for at least five years.

Among the extra games I picked up was Fallout 4 (played Fallout 3 three times) and it's mind-blowing compared with its predecessor.

Wow, Sony finally okayed Microsoft to release the current Bedrock version of Minecraft to the PS4! Xbox, Switch, PS4, PC and mobile can now all play together.

Not sure if this is a mistake or not, but went to check out the price of The Division 2 expansion and the base game is listed at $2.99 or 95% off.

That's not a mistake. They are releasing a new $29.99 expansion shortly.

Playing Bioshock because it's a free game this month. Man this game is great.

It kind of reminds me of Resident Evil with the "just walking around this place is so intense".

The Bioshock combat is less bad than i remember too.

Playing it at the same time as my girlfriend and she’s loving it. I’ve played it a couple of times over the years and aside from the main story beats, I forgot how much more game there is after the big reveal. I never got a chance to play Infinite so I can’t wait to get to that.

Yep, reveal is prob (years since I played) aprox 65% through maybe a tad more.

I could’ve sworn it was pretty much at the end. A lot of what followed I thought was in part 2.

Now I kinda wonder what the hell is even in part 2 hahahah.

The story is just so well done and genius. The characters are amazing. Ryan is GOAT level, Cohen might be even better, Tennenbaum, Suchong, McDonagh. Even little characters like Diane, Jasmine Joelene, Masha's parents.

There's little stories that i like such as:
Spoiler:
Anya's. She realizes Ryan has betrayed Libertopia and her daughter has been turned into a Little Sister. She's gonna kill him herself so she starts doing what it takes to find out how to override Ryan's security. She gets all the way to Kyburz, who is also working on the same problem. But tragically they don't realize they're on the same side of the conspiracy and Kyburz knows the pretty woman suddenly interested in him has ulterior motives. He thinks she's a Ryan spy and has her killed :-(

Or
Spoiler:
How Fontaine is using you to tie up loose ends. Steinman did the surgery to turn him into Atlas so he had to silenced. Peach Wilkins (probably) took Sullivan's deal and betrayed Fontaine to "That Irish Porkpie" and Ryan.

Thanks, i'll try it out. I guess i'll be leaving the PS4 on for a while, good thing the installer is smaller than the RDR.

Not sure if this is a video about the PS5 specs, or the most boring Dana Carvey sketch ever.

hey guys, quick question: I haven't played video games for about 20 years, since the Playstation 2/Black/GTA days. I was looking at a Playsation 4 and can get one from Amazon for under $300 including the controller and some games...but I see this Playstation Now streaming service where I'd only have to pay a monthly subscription plus the cost of a controller...seems a lot cheaper. But can I get the good games that way? I like first-person shooters, so would probably like Call Of Duty type stuff.

I want to kill some Nazis, or something, so give me some advice.

I'd recommend the actual console, especially for first person shooters such as COD. They will feel much better to play - any additional latency is horrible in a first-person shooter - plus you won't be relying on perfect internet service (and who knows how long that is going to hold up in these unprecedented times...) With the console you can still subscribe to save on games if they are in the service, then you also get the additional option to download and play offline as well as stream if you wish.

AFAIK you need more than a controller, you need a PC(/maybe Mac? or a PS4), but I guess you have that already? Here's where to see the full list of games on it: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/ex...ames/#allgames

No Call of Duty, but it does have Wolfenstein The New Order.

PVP only, Call of Duty: Warzone is the new hotness right now and is free to play.

The specs of the PS5 and new Xbox seem good and are pretty similar. Xbox has better CPU/GPU and PS5 has better SSD. Though it's really silly how Sony is claiming that the faster SSD will completely change games. Don't they know that PCs have had SSDs forever?

It reminds me of when Apple used to put out gimmicky features on their phones like "3d touch" and then hype it up about how they will change phones forever. Yes, load times will decrease but it wasn't until today that I learned that what has been holding back game developers from the true potential of their games for 30+ years was loading screens and fake loading screens like elevator rides and twisty level design.

PCs have never had games built with an SSD as a requirement (Star Citizen perhaps the only one, and that has absurdly huge ambitions compared to the norm), the squeeze through gaps and twisty walking sections are absolutely a real thing. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

If you haven't played GTA since back then the newest one will blow your mind. Of course that newest one is now 7 years old (damn times moves fast) but definitely worth picking up.
