Pretty sure my 2k+ Snorlax that I caught in rush hour traffic exemplifies "making the best out of what you have." You would have let him slip by, probably nothing but weak Vaporeons in your collection.

I have plenty of Eevee that are almost top CP, I want rarity at this point. It's hard enough when the game takes away those chances in the wild with the 1 & runs.

Just caught a random exeggutor and wigglytuff within 10 mins of each other. Lovely 45% and 37% IV.

The IV game is kind of silly when there's so little depth at the moment. I'm certainly prioritizing movesets.

I am almost lvl 30 and I still haven't caught (only had one chance) a Snorlax. I have never seen a Lapras either. (*&)(@#$

Where do I find Snorlaxes? Are they just not near water? (I've been obsessing over bodies of water to get dratinis. I got 4 gyrados and 1400 magikarp candies to show for my efforts)

No idea, never found one either. I think they are (relatively) common in 10k eggs though

I sort of get the Eevee hate, they are common, but they are just so goddamn cute I can't be mad when one spawns or hatches. Most of my hate is reserved for Zubats. I actively detest those ****ers.

Index is at 99 after a couple of new 5k hatches and a random Weezing that was hanging out by my casino. Still no Pikachu or any of the rare 10k hatches, though. I did finally hatch a starter from a 2k egg, was just a bit disappointed it was a Bulbasaur, which is the easiest of the three for me to find. It's going to take me ages to evolve anything from the Squirtle or Charmander line when I've literally only seen either of them in one place (the zoo) and rarely even there.

I don't know why but I just don't get many 10k eggs. Maybe it's because I am mostly camping lure orgy spots stationarily but I still have done a lot of mileage (like 200 miles of walking in 2 weeks) according to my FibBit.

Start with the worst - Jolty. Then Flairy. Believe me, when you're 3 levels higher and finally find a 500+ or 600+ eevee, he'll make a damn fine Vape and you'll want to make damn sure he turns into one.

Vaporeon still has best stats but honestly just do what you think is cutest. The "endgame" min-max in Pokemon Go is a joke now.

Gym battle rules are so lopsided you can take them too easily, no matter how strong the defenders are so there is really no reason to min-max that much.

Also don't evolve the eevee yet until you get stronger ones (CP near max). Higher level "powerups" take up a lot of candies too.

I had a 2k egg hatch a Pidgey today so all you whinners can suck it.

That's pretty normal. It's just a 2k egg. The upside of it is that it was probably quite strong for a Pidgey (I've hatched some in the 360+ range), which I assume means it can evolve into a strong Pidgeotto/Pidgeot.

so I got on board the IV train and started using pogobag. My Golduck has 0 for attack power, my Starmie has 1 for defense, and both my 1500 Vaporeons are below 65%.

does the IV stay the same when you evolve?
